Thank you for mentioning this. I was so frustrated at the multiple kidnaps that I started rolling my eyes. They didn’t even bother to show us how she was kidnapped from the funeral in broad daylight. She wasn't even knocked out. Also, how did no one notice? Smh

Exactly! His disappearance and self punishment was too much of an exaggerated response to something he couldn't control. Heck, he was was still living by the riverside when it all happened so why make yourself and loved one suffer for it? Ugh

For me it was the disappearing part. I couldn't care less if he was in Argan or Jojoba but I simply cannot wrap my head around making your loved one suffer, not knowing where you are or if you're even alive.

Exactly! All that drama in ep 12 was quite infuriating. 6 months of suffering for what?? I'm going back to watch clips of earlier episodes to remind myself why I loved this drama so much in the first place.

I enjoyed most of this seried but the last two episodes were so convoluted, it was painful to watch. I had to switch to my phone to watch ep 12 x1.5speed because I just wanted it to be over. The running away annoyed me so bad because disappearing with no word is punishment to HHJ than it is to himself. How could he do that to someone he suppsedly loves? What if she got killed looking for him? All that showing of skinship and life after marriage was unenjoyable to watch and pretty much useless to me as the events of the preceeding 6 months left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm disappointed that the show manged to drag so much with just 12 episodes. 10 would have been perfect IMO. Still, I quite enjoyed the show in general.

You do know there is a S3 confirmed for 2025 right? If S2 has a satisfactory ending, then what would people look forward to in S3? I get it if it was the end end but come on, there's another season.

I didn't have high hopes for this but I thoroughly enjoyed S2. The new games were very exciting. I cheered for everyone like I was watching sports. In S1, I was biting my nails in fear but S2, pure excitement! Even the occasional comic relief with TOP and Kang Ha Neul were very tastefully done. I like all the new characters but my only disappointment is that Lee Jin Wook's character was very under utilized with very little screen presence. I'm excited to see how they wrap this up in S3.

I'm not sure if that is what op, VDC is referring to but I'm thinking how it was revealed that the AIB characters are in "borderland", a place between life and death aka coma after the blast. Similarly the characters in this show are in a coma but don't realize it.

I wish they just stuck to the original creatures

Is anyone else annoyed that they altered the look of the monsters? In S1, they were so thick, menacing and all identical ape-looking creatures. However this season they are skinnier, one is insect-like and they slash in addition to pummeling. What bugged me the most are those weird tendrils hanging off their heads and feet. They basically now look like generic aliens on sci-fi shows 😭
