I'm not sure if that is what op, VDC is referring to but I'm thinking how it was revealed that the AIB characters are in "borderland", a place between life and death aka coma after the blast. Similarly the characters in this show are in a coma but don't realize it.

Yuan Zhou and Li Lun are giving me serious Lian Hua and Di Fei Shang vibes from Mysterious Lotus Playbook. Yuan Zhou and Zhou Li Chen are also giving Lian Hua and Fang Duo Bin vibes when he was mad at LH. I hope this does not have another MLP ending đ
Is anyone else annoyed that they altered the look of the monsters? In S1, they were so thick, menacing and all identical ape-looking creatures. However this season they are skinnier, one is insect-like and they slash in addition to pummeling. What bugged me the most are those weird tendrils hanging off their heads and feet. They basically now look like generic aliens on sci-fi shows đ
Sorry to the new guy but the disparity between him and YAI is huge. He can't replicate that onscreen charisma.
Not a fan of YAI but I agree. YAI acted the hell out that charisma that attracted followers to Chairman Jung but KSC unfortunately doesnât have it. His portrayal of Chairman Jung, although good, doesnât give that down-to-earth leader that people would literally lay their lives for. He gives wicked/bad boy vibes while YAI gives undetectable psycho if that makes sense. Maybe I'm so used to seeing KSC in bad boy roles that this didnât seem any different. Eitherway, I applaud him for filling the big shoes and couldn't have asked for a better replacement.
I was hoping S2 was a different storyline but turns out to be a continuation of S1 with an all new cast playing the same characters from S1. I really loved S1 but the story ended properly - it didnât need a continuation especially if the cast were all replaced. The new Lu Zicong doesnât have the aura of the mature, rich, CEO like the guy from S1. Su Yao's character, one of the lead females in S1 is not in S2. How disappointing.
I'm quite surprised that people are only just noticing how pretty Jung Eun Chae is. I was so sad how no one seemed to notice her in TKEM when her visuals gave literal goddess. Glad she's having her moment.
