This! The writing is deeply flawed in this aspect and makes the FL seem wishy washy and unreliable. Her feelings were supposed to have been cleared up after she said it was just concern and PX actually confessed to her. It's so frustrating how they drag on this nonsense with SRQ, even bringing other characters like Miss Shanguan to stir the pot while the poor ML suffers through this.

Agreed! That is my pet peeve in this drama. She needs to clearly cut off private contact with SRQ. I was so mad that she wasted time mulling about his proposal when she should have instantly declined. I didn’t like that she was spared from responding by the news of PX's return. Now SRQ would still believe he has a chance if PX dies.

I cried buckets today, ep. 28. I was pissed that they shoved Ji Shu Ran and her ex's flashback down our throats minutes after he murdered Tong'er...and the sad music when he died was for what? 😒 Play it for Tong'er instead. I'm glad they did eventually honor Tong'er's death. I cried with A'li 😭

I also hope it wasn't him. It wouldn't even makes sense for him to be her saviour. If he only returned to the past and was able to save her because he met her in the future, that would be asburd because she wouldn't exist in the future. Then he wouldn't have met her and heard about her being the one locked up in the storage and go back to save her.
