So I saw a lot of comments elsewhere saying how fans are complaining about this drama. And at that time I didn't…
After watching to the end, I think that the mermaids are doom if ever there's a war against the mermaid again in the unforeseeable future because Yan Xi is weak. lol Seriously, for being a general (or was it captain? I can't remember) but he's weak at fighting. I hope he's written better and actually strong in the novel to be worthy of being picked as the next mermaid king. lol

On the other stuff with the ending... like the promise of meeting every Oct 15th, how Bai Yang can still see and talk to Sumo after his passing, the temple scene, umm.... LOL... I'll just not think about it. >____>

So I saw a lot of comments elsewhere saying how fans are complaining about this drama. And at that time I didn't give it much thought because to me the drama is fine... up to the episode I was, even if there's plot holes and whatnot that wasn't explain or make much sense. But still, it was passable. THEN, I got to ep 42 and it was a big WTF what just happen. LOL Now, I finally understand why people complain! Seriously wtf with the editing and fight scenes. It was just bad! Seriously haven't watch one this badly edited in a while. LOL And if I think about it, this one still tops all the other rush and bad editing drama I've seen previously.

One thing I do like about this drama even til the end is Sumo's wig. I like the curls haha. Although I don't considered myself a fan of Li Yi Feng, but I do enjoy watching Li Yi Feng in wigs. And there are some nice side characters that I'm fond of, like Sumo's aunt and the inn lady in that forest.
