I feel like this kdrama will end up being a very realistic one. some people don’t like that. they love escapism, not something that they can relate to. because life is hard as it is. But not me, it’s because stories like that exist, that we can find the strength to keep going, because we’re all in the same boat, we’re not alone. this first episode is an 8.5/10 to me.

just binged it. it was so so good. no love triangle, no cringe things, nothing over the top, no love triangle (thank YOU), good story telling, no insufferable character, good character development, all the cast was a treat, no unnecessary drama, good romance. Thank you for this k-drama after all the slop we’ve been getting lately

well if they exagerate, maybe it’s because it feels like it ? And if it feels like it, it’s not a good thing at all

and that’s why she doesn’t deserve him. let him be with someone else

ML is not her home, he’s her cook, her babysitter, her emotion dump, her maid. he deserves better

that’s too easy. so what ? he’s a poor guy that has to wait for her when she spends time with another man and ALSO has to let be with him just because she’s made a mistake ? that would be pathetic. she doesn’t get to do whatever she wants and use his feelings like that.

i was hoping to watch it at some point bc the premises looked interesting. but seeing all the spoiler tweets on Twitter made me not want to. i basically know all the story and whats happening. The 2ml getting more screentime with the supposedly ml’s love interest THAN THE ML is outrageous. the fl is pissing me off too. and WYM there’re only 4 eps left? what a shitshow and a let down. and it’s still rated 8.2 on here ? lmao

I really enjoyed it. as usual, JCW crushes it when it comes to action drama. If anyone asked me some action kdrama recommendation, i’d just send them to JCW’s work. The K2, The Manipulated, Gagnam B-Side (mid), Worst Of Evil, honestly i’m not even mad at him for not wanting to do action kdramas anymore. he’s done so much and honestly he’s the representation of action kdramas

IT’S SO ENTICING WTF ?? i just feel like 12 eps won’t be enough and that’s the main problem of Disney+ Kdramas they always end up rushing things in the end. i hope it won’t be the case for The Manipulated because IT’S FIRE

This drama is so cliche but not in a bad way. it’s a romcom doing what it’s supposed to do, and does it WELL.
