I think the chemistry is really great and the tension as well 🤭 however downside is the lack of intimacy between them like they finally confessed but the supposed "kiss" scene was barley there 😭 I will say I am really enjoying the romance I think its one of the best I've seen in a while in cdramas.

Someone please tell me tang Lian will make comeback soon because he really is my fav out of all and I’ve just witness the best character development in ep 25 like he can’t go down like this 😭😭😭😭

Yes I believe so aswell however it seems like romance has been decided to added so now I can hope it doesn’t hinder how well the drama is ongoing along and just becomes better as it’s just so cringy in my eyes at the moment.

yes I heavily agree with this because it felt so random and unnecessary for this romance to happen however I still consider this is still early into the drama so I will wait if there is a further development between their chemistry.

Same here I was very shocked at how he did not consider her feelings in this situation, and he should have used a better method to prevent her from losing her dignity from a proposal not very romantic at all ( tbh I felt like her previous proposal was better than his), but I understood from his perspective as well though

Zhao Lu Si has definitely become one of my fav actresses this year watched some of her drama before but this year I've majorly watched a lot of dramas that she starred in, and I found that I love her acting in them and she can portray the character perfectly that makes you wonder if this also her as well.

Have to say this drama blew my mind especially since cdramas 2022 was quite bland for me only started it yesterday but caught up to ep24 already w no skips at all and no sleeping during it. This drama is constantly in my mind I don't know if I can wait for part 2 without getting withdrawal symptoms from it. This by far the best c drama this year the acting, setting etc. was immaculate for me that even a historical drama can give realistic emotions that is relatable to this modern era. there was no tragedy in this drama, but it brought me tears that was how good it was for me. Thus, I can say this is one of the top five historical cdramas for me
