I can't understand Rin yi, I'm in ep 16 and I've discovered how dumb she is. I mean, everything his boyfriend…
I swearr, and what was her conflict exactly? Her boyfriend had valid questions about the reality of her lifestyle and how she won't be able to sustain herself for long, and he wasn't even forcing her to work, just to get an education! She started bawling because of her mother's words, and again, how was her boyfriend supposed to know that exactly? She was really stupid, both her and EO were horrid girls, no wonder they were besties.
True! the FL hardly expressed any emotions on her face. She had the same expression in all the scenes.PATHETIC.On…
It 100% was better! She didn't even fight with the girls when she suspected her boyfriend was cheating on her with one of them. She didn't threaten them, didn't create any drama at all. Super classy. I loved her from her first scene tbh. The female lead is way too cunning and undeserving of any affection to be even slightly likeable, even as a regular character, let alone the lead.

They did look good! The serial dater was true to herself, honest, badass, and a sexy fucking beautiful goddess who deserved someone as loving as JCW. BUT tbh, my main issue is actually with JCW's character, and how pathetic they made him be for this random girl. He had no self-respect and that is a major character flaw. You can't be with someone who constantly gaslights you. He had a choice to move on for a YEAR, and report her to the police when he did find her, but he idiotically didn't and then let her go just because she started ugly crying like a big bitch! And he broke his own cameras too like a huge idiot. Like, for someone who loves JCW as much as I do ( and I REALLY do ) , it was a pain to watch this drama, and the 8 rating I gave it is based purely on JCW. Otherwise this show deserves like a 6.
I really dislike the female lead, she was barely tolerable in Fight For My Way, but here she's just worse. Nothing in acting and no visuals. No matter what her tragic backstory can be, she didn't deserve JCW at all. TBH the 'serial dater' is 1000% times better for JCW, and the minor scene in the closing of episode 6 proves it. Yet another drama with JCW where he is the kicked dog running after his female 'owner'. What happened to the guy who did shows like Healer and K2 and Suspicious Partners? At this point, Melting Me Softly was his best recent drama. I know the style of this drama is unique and refreshing, and I appreciate all the other positives in this drama as well, but the male lead deserves better, a better script to be sure. BUT I'm still gonna watch your next drama JCW oppa, no matter what.
Okay, if this drama had only 12-ish episodes, it would've been the BEST goddamn show you've ever seen. It seemed too dragged out towards the end, BUT Lee Joon Gi oppa was PHENOMENAL, so was the plot, and the ost and the other actors.
does this have a happy ending? not in terms of romance, just in general!
I swearrr you are so right, I am reading a Dramione fic right now that feels like it could be the screenplay of an Oscar winning movie. Like, legit these writers are so gifted and I am grateful for them everyday. Fanfic is life.
Hyun Bin's acting made the drama for me, it was an unsatisfying ending otherwise. Not in terms of it being happy or sad, but I felt that some loose ends were there that could've been easily resolved in a few seconds of the episode. But nonetheless, really good feel for the show, and loved watching it. A solid 8.5 easily.
