This show is fast paced, cruel at times in its reality, and yet shows positive human change, inspiration and perseverance. I did not like the presence of an inherent evil character but I liked the development of the Chief and the eventual ending towards an actual positive change in their available resources. JJH's character was great, in that he was inspirational, demanding (sexy) and not above being callous with the right people to use his positives to his advantage and for the greater good. He understood how to use money, media, medical knowledge to actually create a Trauma center that was well staffed and well funded. His attitude as a trauma surgeon made me feel like he was egoistic at times, but at his heart he was a true doctor and wanted to save lives above all else. All the background characters were great. I can't see medical dramas in details because blood and guts make me feel faint, but I was able to fast forward most of the intense medical scenes easily and still feel the tension and development in the storyline. Must watch!
Ju Ji Hoon as a Prosecutor Husband? Likely going to wear a lot of sexy suits and show off his intelligence and be all demanding and arrogant and sexy??? SIGN ME UP
To anyone considering whether or not to watch this show, picture a sexy, tall Ju Ji Hoon in a black suit, giving orders, being demanding, and being the best at his job (like he always is, in each show he acts in) and thank me later :)
Despite people focusing more on his private life than his professional, his range simply cannot be denied. Many people started watching Korean shows because of him and that kind of worldwide recognition cannot be attained easily.
I've been a JJH fangirl for over 5 years now and it's so gratifying to see his fame grow across global Kdrama watchers! I've said it before and I'll say it again, main roles onlyπ
Literally just started this, but the gorgeous shot at 07:24 in episode 1 of Ju Ji Hoon's sexy arms/wingspan taking all 3 seats spread across a chair is HOT AS HELL
