The difference is I didn't see the 2ml as the villain but as a grey character. I think depending on who you resonated with, the ending will feel good or not ig.

You still can't handle that some are ok with the end or the 2ml's character, and you swoop down like clockwork. Lest not forget your anti women comments calling the FL a "cheater" just because you were so mad at this drama, it's not that serious.

If you can handle other people's views, don't block. You've blocked at least 10 people who questioned you for your spamming or brought up FOF. So true, this character was an enigma, and very hard to put in a box. If they went with the novel, the story would've been very short. They felt the SML had it easy, but in the novel, he went back to heaven! Here, he got the worst end out of all of them.

Tbh, he was the main interesting character here as he was the most complex and layered. We were meant to see him as bad with how they led the story flow. Without the end, this story would've been so dry and predictable.

There's also a chart showing the screen time the 2ml had- less than half of FL. If you think his scenes were effective, and it got you thinking he had more cp, that's on you.

I love this fl because as you said she has a mind of her own and she's fully fleshed out, with realistic human emotions, while setting her boundaries. What some want is her with no agency or feelings for anyone. Her whole life's goal is to love and continually show total devotion to ML. That is not realistic. This drama has different kinds of love, companionship and loyalty. If showing care for another is "cheating" they will have difficulty living in the real world, as it's full of "cheaters"🤕.

To be honest, I dropped this around ep 20 due to HMH's flat acting. Yu Shi could do this type of role. He's got the looks and a hot body. He can fight and definitely ride horses. He was convincing playing tough, vulnerable & naïve in both Feng Shen & especially To The Wonder. He nailed both those roles.
