I didn't like her at the beginning. But after he got out of jail and yelled at her, I feel like her character slowly changed and I find myself quite enjoying her now.

First impression, the beginning was really hard for me to get into. Almost quit but powered through for Tan Jianci. Glad I did because it did get better around ep 3. He really played Yuan Mo well. Funny but not overly exaggerated.

There's some annoying characters but overall I do like the supporting characters. They definitely add some dynamics to the drama. I adore Lao Li.

Only thing I haven't gotten used to is the female lead. I find her annoying and I didn't like her from the very beginning. But overall I am enjoying it so far.

Omg omg omg! Do I start and torture myself with waiting for new eps. Or torture myself by not watching til it finishes airing. Fml!

I'm rewatching last few eps and I just love Mr. Penguin's relationship with his squad. I adore the squad so much and was so scared they were gonna kill off Jae Su's character. Happy ending to all.

Yes! I was so annoyed when they posted all that defamation. I'm over here like...if the team was bias, then why was XL's screentime in S2 so little 🤦‍♀️ everyone's scenes were cut and adjustments made.

I'm going back to Qingshui Town and am going to pretend S2 never happened. Losing XL was too much 😭😭😭

I am amazed by her maturity but also pity her. She's now in a loveless marriage. And will have to deal with the inner palace schemes her whole life.

Personally this is how I see them.
TSJ=safe choice
XL=risky choice
With XY's past, she can't pick a risk. And TSJ is able to give her that comfort and assurance.
I'm sure she loves both men but she's given XL many chances which makes me think she loved him first.

Dying with no regrets on the battlefield is the best death a general could ask for. He fulfilled all XY's wishes. He taught her to protect herself, saved her lover and gave her a home. And he fought til his last breath with his brothers. I believe our XL died content.
