I am amazed by her maturity but also pity her. She's now in a loveless marriage. And will have to deal with the inner palace schemes her whole life.

Personally this is how I see them.
TSJ=safe choice
XL=risky choice
With XY's past, she can't pick a risk. And TSJ is able to give her that comfort and assurance.
I'm sure she loves both men but she's given XL many chances which makes me think she loved him first.

Dying with no regrets on the battlefield is the best death a general could ask for. He fulfilled all XY's wishes. He taught her to protect herself, saved her lover and gave her a home. And he fought til his last breath with his brothers. I believe our XL died content.

XY shooting XL with an arrow was probably the most heartbreaking thing. He taught her archery to protect herself and she used it on him. Our XL deserves better 😭

S2 has honestly been a really big let down. But one good thing did come out of this season. Which is...every scene of XL makes me love him more and more.

I think it would only be fair to us viewers to get all the cut scenes released after this finishes airing. The drama feels incomplete.

Not just XL. I think they cut out a lot of good scenes from the novel that really would have made this drama even better. I'm disappointed and really am just sticking around for XL now even though they did him dirty with the cuts.
