Yoo Yeon Seok also is very successful in musical theater, most recently reprising his role in Hedwig. Terrific performer! Thanks for the article.

I thought worst of evil was good? Didn't watch, but the general opinion?
I first watched JCW in Empress Ki and was impressed with his handling of a character that undergoes tremendous change. After that I watched everything he did as it was released and enjoyed his acting in all of them, including Melting Me Softly which was generally panned. To date Suspicious Partner is my favorite because of the intelligence of the character and the relationships of the entire ensemble. The K-2 would have been good had they cast a different actress as the love interest or written her a part that had some substance. Again with Tell me Your Wish JCW was not served well by a poorly written narrative. In Welcome to Samdalri the writing was again problematic. I fault the writers because otherwise how could a show with such a brilliant cast be so bland? The Worst of Evil is an odd one. Very intense but for me ultimately unsatisfying. Truly JCW gave a tour de force performance but for me the writers allowed too few glimpses of his back story or inner dialogue to make me empathize. At the end I felt far more invested in the SML character than the main. Since people seemed to have taken issue with my comments about poor scripts, I have to add that I personally think that many of the scripts were lacking. Others no doubt think differently. I don’t care if the character is a loser or winner but the story needs proper pacing, interesting dialogue, fully realized characters, etc.

I know it’s a 2011 product but I liked it so much…until the end. What was that?
