Totally enjoying this show. About to start episode 8. It’s something both my husband and I can watch that won’t bore him with lots of romance. The humor during the fight scenes were properly balanced. The character that I kept thinking was dead at the port scene lol cracked me up. It lightened up the mood of it all. The acting has been really good! I’ve been pulled into their world and following along. The fight scenes have been good. I can’t handle too more gore so this was just enough. Overall worth a weekend binge watch.

that makes so much sense now. I was like why does the 2nd half feel like a whole different drama?! This is not what I signed up for. Even the ending was bland. Such good actors wasting away on a terrible 2nd half script. FL's personality went completely in the toilet.

Did the writers just give up these characters and the storyline for the 2nd half?

I haven't watched a modern drama in a while. This is a good change of pace. I just finished my journey to you and story of Kunning palace. Nice seeing Zhang Ling He not in costume. The pace of the romance between ML and FL is good. It feels natural and organic. This is drama is so cozy and comforting to watch so far. Only on ep. 3and I adore the characters.

I could not stop watching after the episode 1. I wish I waited to start so I could binge this. I laughed so much in ep 2 and 3. This is a good break from heavy, serious, slow burn dramas. Nothing in this drama is serious so far. I am here for it. If I were dropped in my favorite drama as a side character, I'd totally hi-jack the story haha I've watched too many c-dramas recently where the sidekicks are dying. ML and FL relationship is so fun to watch.

His voice is so good. Can the whole drama have only scenes with him talking?
