I've never done this but I think I'll have to write a review for this drama. The rating is too low for this masterpiece due to fast-food watchers. I think the first words will be.... If you're looking for a romantic drama with a couple of doves... don't watch it! If you're looking for a basic drama to watch at double speed... don't watch it! If you are looking for a drama with only 2 protagonists and unimportant side stories with mediocre actors who glorify the protagonists.... don't watch it! π€£π€£π€£ If you are looking for a drama with a complex story that keeps you in suspense where all the actors play an important role in the unfolding of the plot without useless dialogues.... watch it! If you're looking for a drama with incredible production, breathtaking visuals and an amazing soundtrack.... watch it!
This has become one of my favorite dramas. Based on a true story and different from the usual court plots. The actors did a great job and the production was flawless. 10/10 for me
Sword snow stride. The blood of youth. Who rules the world. The long ballad. Joy of life. Destined. I am nobody.…
Lol I've seen almost of the dramas you mentioned, I tried SSOFV but I can't get past the half bald hair style. π I'm joking of course. I would add Nirvana on fire 1, The dark Lord and Under the Microscope
finished in 7 days, too heavy to marathon, slow paced, some ep i watch in 2x speed, but the last 6 ep was the…
Yep! This drama is full of details and hints mixed also in the dialogs, definitely difficult to watch all in one go. By speeding it up, unfortunately, you lose the growing attachment to the characters that are slowly developed until they root in you. This is undoubtedly the strong point of MJTY, in the end you find yourself suffering and getting angry for them, which personally rarely happens to me in dramas
I hate open endings especially in Chinese dramas because you are never sure of a next season but, honestly, this…
Finished! Well I'm ok with the ending. I've read the review from PeachBlossomGoddes in the spoiler section and I agree with the explanation. Anyway I'll give 10/10 because I love it π
i couldn't participate in MDL interactions when the drama was airing because i had almost no time π’so the plot…
I agree, the best drama I've seen so far. Regarding the ML, the only thing I noticed is that perhaps he lacks experience to convey the nuances of his character, not even his eyes reveal a hidden intelligence and cunning. This would have saved him from criticism of his supposed foolishness. An actor's eyes should 'speak' but in this case inexperience did not allow him to convey to us what he is keeping hidden from others, a truly difficult role
It's better to not keep hope. The director isn't explaining anything yet. Besides this one went through a lots…
I think Esther is quite satisfied, this drama showed a different side than usual and gained her new fans who were not convinced by her cute side and her baby voice. Maybe ZLH is the only one dissatisfied but I wouldn't blame the Director or the plot, he just couldn't sustain the character. A weak but intelligent and sharp character does not necessarily have to be a big child, a clear example is Nirvana on Fire where the ML is weak but intelligent and his aura is very powerful. Don't blame me but in the end ZY is a character with many shade and perhaps ZLH lacks experience to support this part
I'm no expert on this topic... however, MJTY's aesthetics has a LOT to do with the historical era it is set in.…
Finally someone who has done research like me! Some also criticized make-up without knowing that during the Wei and Jin eras, it wasn't just women who wore make-up, men also used white rice powder. Those were times when the most handsome men emerged and girls went crazy for them
i loved this drama, the cinematography was on another level, the characters were all well written and well acted,…
I think the ending is perfect based on how the plot was developed. Even if there wasn't a second season, the viewer can easily imagine why YW isn't surprised by anything she sees, watches the spoiler part of the PeachBlossomGoddes review which I fully agree with.
