All dramas are visual media and are filled with dialogues, often needless to context. In this case, in my opinion, their dialogues are like a chess game. It is often repeated that they are not friends and have no mercy. They are using each other to get informations and achieve their different goal. Surely in the future this will come in handy. We'll see how it turns out.

Imho the dialogues in this drama are strictly necessary for the development of the plot, I don't find them boring at all. To tell the truth I've seen worse, for example I'm also watching TLP and I often fast forward or get annoyed by the FL silly and repetitive dialogues. 😂

In episode 4 at min 30:31 the assistant ask the butler about "import the wrong herbs". Maybe the butler just wanted to hide his mistake by using the hatred between the brothers.
