My theory is that Jiang Xiao is still the same person Qi Lian is looking for. She might have been kidnapped and locked up in the coffin tube and brainwashed because why is she having a similar character to her? Why did she faint and have flashes when she saw those class corridors? Or she volunteered to be experimented on to save her grandma. They might ask her who she wished she could be and she told them a rich heiress and then she locked up and brainwashed her with her dream wish. She might have escaped somehow from them.
My conclusion is that they are the same person but just manipulated into believing she is a new person. The same thing might have happened to Qi Lian's friend.
Qi Lian needs to calm his ass down and be more understanding. All because someone told you she is not the friend you are missing doesn't warrant him to be harsh on them.
I am happy this series is a short episodes rather than many episodes because they would have made us hate the villains more than the devil. I love Do Guk's family apart from the brother, they are so amazing. It is so rare for you to find a chaebol family that everyone will accept an adopted woman to marry their son. Do Guk's family is the best family-in-law I have seen in kdrama
