A Time Travelling Romantic Masterpiece
Time-travel narratives often get tangled, but Someday or One Day handles the concept with astonishing clarity and elegance. The story weaves between timelines with purpose, building tension and uncovering secrets piece by piece. Every shift in time is meaningful, each detail carefully placed—nothing feels random or messy.
The plot balances mystery, romance, and suspense in a way that keeps you constantly invested.
The time Travel element in this Drama is handled exceptionally well. Visually, the drama is stunning. The soft color palette, meticulous framing, and thoughtful transitions create a dreamlike yet grounded atmosphere.
The complex plot and pace of the Drama flowed really well. The story was interesting from start to finish and kept me well engaged. Even without spoilers, it’s safe to say: the show rewards your attention and makes every clue count.
One of the drama’s biggest strengths is its characters. They’re not exaggerated or plot devices—they feel like real people with fears, flaws, dreams, and histories. You connect with them immediately, and as the story unfolds, those connections deepen in ways you don’t expect. The emotional beats hit hard because the characters are written with such care. You root for them. You hurt with them. You grow with them.
All the actors did a a really great job, especially the 3 main leads.
Alice Ko is captivating, bringing vulnerability, strength, and complexity to her character in a way that feels completely natural.
Greg Hsu is phenomenal, seamlessly portraying emotional range, charm, and heartbreaking sincerity.
Patrick Shih adds depth and nuance that enrich the entire story.
Alice and Greg had a really nice chemistry. Their chemistry is undeniable, and their acting is so immersive that it becomes impossible to imagine anyone else in their roles. Every expression, every shift in tone, every moment of silence carries meaning.
The OST is iconic, instantly recognizable, and emotionally loaded. Songs like “Last Dance” "Someday Or One Day" and “Miss You 3000” become woven into the narrative itself, amplifying the mood and transforming scenes into unforgettable emotional moments. Even years later, hearing the soundtrack brings the entire drama rushing back—a testament to how perfectly it complements the story. The music was insanely good, Especially the main song "Someday or Oneday" by Shi Shi. It's been on my head these days. The Rewatch value is not that high, because I already know the mysteries,
but I might find signs I haven't noticed before. So I will be rewatching this again.
What makes Someday or One Day extraordinary is how it balances mind-bending story mechanics with raw human emotion. It is exciting, heartbreaking, hopeful, and deeply meaningful—all without relying on cheap tricks or forced drama.
Every episode leaves a lasting impact, and by the end, it feels like you’ve lived the journey alongside the characters.
Overall it's one of my favourite dramas, and my favourite Taiwanese one.
Someday or One Day is a masterpiece of storytelling—from its clever time-travel plot to its unforgettable characters, flawless acting, and soul-stirring music. It is one of the most emotionally powerful and thoughtfully written dramas to come out of Taiwan. It's probably the best Taiwanese Drama out right now!
A must-watch for anyone who loves mystery, romance, sci-fi, or simply a beautifully crafted story that touches the heart.
