Like the edge of a Bus seat! Thrilling.

Reset is easily one of the most gripping Chinese dramas I’ve watched in years. The time-reset concept is executed with absolute precision—every loop adds new layers of tension, mystery, and urgency. Instead of repeating scenes for filler, the show cleverly uses each reset to reveal crucial clues, making you feel like you’re solving the puzzle right alongside the characters.

This is how you do a sci-fi, time-resetting and a thrilling story.
But there are differences in each reset. The pacing is tight and relentless.
The story can be predictable at times,
and sometimes you will be shocked indeed. Like I was!
There is a story to tell here, and it may be repeating at times.
Yet there's never a dull moment; every single episode ends with a twist that pulls you straight into the next.
The stakes rise constantly, and the show brilliantly balances action, suspense, and emotional depth without ever losing momentum.

What makes Reset truly stand out is how intelligently it handles its plot. It respects the audience’s attention, rewards careful watching, and builds an atmosphere where even the smallest detail matters. The characters grow with each loop, and the thrill of watching them fight their way out of an impossible cycle is unbelievably satisfying.

The actors in this drama, did a FANTASTIC JOB! The main leads Li Shiqing and Xiao Heyun are not typical action-thriller heroes, yet were the pillars of this Drama. They had a nice chemistry also.
As they are everyday people thrown into a nightmare, and watching them grow—from terrified victims to determined investigators—is incredibly satisfying. Their reactions feel genuine, their fear is palpable, and their gradual courage is inspiring. The supporting characters, too, are surprisingly multi-dimensional, even those who seem insignificant at first glance.
Especially Liu Dan and Liu Yi Jun.
The side characters were well fleshed out and were given
the necessary screen time and attention.

What makes Reset even more compelling is how it seamlessly blends human psychology, moral dilemmas, and social issues into its thriller framework. It explores guilt, misunderstanding, prejudice, and the weight of assumptions without ever feeling preachy. The drama uses its time-loop structure to show how perspective can completely change the truth. With a concise episode count, the series moves with laser-focused momentum. Every moment serves the plot. There’s no filler, no unnecessary side arcs, and no scenes that drag.

The OST was good, but could have been better. The sound design builds suspense without being overwhelming, and the editing is tight enough to keep you constantly alert.
While Reset is undeniably thrilling, it also carries emotional depth. You connect with the characters, root for them, and share their fear and determination. The emotional beats land as powerfully as the suspenseful ones, creating a complete and satisfying experience. The ending is also satisfying and not draggy . Over all this is strongly recommended from me!

If you love mystery, tension, or stories that respect your intelligence and attention, Reset is an absolute must-watch.
