I'm in awe

It's so refreshing to see Kim Mikyung playing a role other than the mom lmao and she's really pulling it off

I watched one episode of this a while ago and dropped it because I felt like the comedy wasn't for me but went back to it 2 days ago because I wanted something light and short that wouldn't make me think much and my god... there's so much more to this drama than the comedy I'm actually writing this while crying after episode 7. There's so much depth to these characters and I'm so attached to them now and their friendship is so wholesome, this drama is giving me everything I wanted from Thirty-Nine (no idea what's happening this year all the dramas I was looking forward to failed me but when I go in with zero expectations like with this drama it really hits)

Yes there's nothing better than seeing women holding each other up and being supportive of one another

I agree with a lot of the criticism this show is getting especially regarding junho's character BUT I'm willing to overlook everything and rate it highly because overall it made me feel so happy and it has some of the best female friendships + boss/employee relationships + father/daughter relationships I've seen in any kdrama for which I didn't care that much about the romantic interest not being very developed there were many redeeming qualities imo

This was so much fun and I couldn't stop watching until the (actual) ml appeared and the romance between him and the (actual) fl I feel like all of a sudden all the charm and the fun were sucked out of the drama :(

Yeah I was expecting it to be more about naksu and I mean it's okay that it isn't I'll see if I can get invested in the other characters but if I can't it's not really on the show just my personal preferences :)

I'm all for character-driven stories but I'm not feeling attached to any character so far except Janguk (he's actually the main reason I got to ep 8) so I guess this is what's making me pay more attention to the pacing and the plot I'm just not invested in the interaction scenes

Yeah I see now that this what the writers are going for but since the body she got trapped in is just weak not crippled I was expecting her to at least attempt remastering martial arts

Thank you for asking I'm not really sure I feel like my issue is that it's not going in the direction I wanted it to go it's also quite slow and uneventful so far but I guess it's just me not the show

I didn't even get to the buyeon conspiracy part but I'll try to finish ep 8 at least hopefully I'll find it more enthralling

my issue isn't with the genre, fantasy is actually my favorite genre and I was loving the setting I feel like my issue is mostly with the fl she was what made the drama most appealing to me but she barely does anything which I'm finding pretty disappointing...like yes she can't use her magic and is trapped inside a weak body but what's preventing her from training and strengthening it? I was expecting her to train along with the ml and looking forward to it but it seems all she does is she (barely) gives him some pointers every now and then but mostly throws snappy remarks at him like giiirl go do some pushups or smth

Am I the only one actually bored watching this? Is it just not for me or it's building up to something and will get better (I just started episode 8)? It's been so long since I watched a fantasy kdrama and I really want to like this but I can't seem to get into it :(

I get that and I'm all for character-driven stories but I feel like in survival dramas like this creating and maintaining tension and suspense is a must and I didn't find the characters and the writing strong or impactful enough to hold on their own without the horror element. The awful and corrupt people living in the building are what made the drama entertaining for me I was mainly watching to see them all die lmao but I really didn't care about any of the characters and their relationships, it never managed to get me emotional and attached I think it had great potential but the execution was not the best

I'm trying to get immersed in this drama but fl looks like she's in her late 20s/early 30s and ml looks 15 lmao it's hard to get over this

This guy acts way too well to not have had a main ml role so far what are the kdrama directors doing

They did the impossible and made me like Rio I can't believe it I hated him with a passion in the original

I finished episode 4 and I'm really not feeling it does it get better

I want to start this but I'm scared of getting disappointed because my expectations are so high
