Never been so disappointed, it turned from 100 to 0 real quick for me.
I usually don't write reviews, but I actually finished this just now, and this was the first BL I watched after a long time. Honestly, because of this one I might stop again and never return. I was actually searching for the top-ranked one on this site, and this one showed as top-ranked. Though I had been on board throughout the series, it’s the ending that ruined it for me completely.
I'll start by saying the acting was AMAZING. The two MCs had so much chemistry — it was beautiful to see.
It is a slow burn, and at some point I felt like I was watching a straight drama, but the tension between the two mains was definitely there.
I was very annoyed with the plot twist in episode 12.
They created a villain (Boss) without giving any real or deep background — just that he was attached to a necklace of a woman we never saw until the last episode. By the way, the necklace was forgotten at some point anyway.
And out of nowhere, he was after a ring that somehow makes you the most powerful man in Bangkok???
Make it make sense.
I was turning a blind eye to all of the unexplainable plots so I could try to enjoy the amazing Yin and War, but then I was met with the tragedy that was Episode 13!
I don’t understand — were the scriptwriters trying to give us something different so it would feel refreshing?
I don’t feel refreshed at all. I’m not happy at all.
What was the point? Why? Just why?
I’ve never felt so disappointed and offended by a BL before. I was bawling my eyes out, not only because of the good acting at the end of the episode, but because they ruined the entire good feeling I had for 12 episodes.
I will rewatch only the cute moments of Yin and War, but I’ll NEVER consider watching this entire show again. Ever.
