BookTok Douyin-like platform and TV show felt the same rich classy preachy lady reading show with just different props and different books sometimes slightly different locations here and there.
I haven't watch this series but can someone tell me how it ties in to Man in a Veil. I am looking at all the names…
The only connection is near the end of Episode 105 of Man in a Veil, a male character says that he's going to be in a new play (series) called Woman in a Veil. Which makes this a show within a show LOL Apparently in the initial plan of this series, it was supposed to be a spin-off then they just used a lot of the actors instead. The ratings suck for this show, surprisingly didn't reduce the number of episodes.
how come episode 88 is available on Kocawa, but it's still unavailable over on Viki.
Viki does their own subs, so they are late with the subs even though the official network has subs same day like Kocowa.
(a lot of the series that I watched on Viki include cultural context which subbers tend to add vs the official subs that lack context or have the wrong terms/words)
I wonder if TY father is faking is mental difficulties. May be he has a plan of his own.
I thought she had a daughter LOL Didn't they use a different actress in prior episodes as the stand in for TY current mother? Now all the flashbacks have TY current mother.
no they never swapped back Serin in Gyeo IT'S body died a few episodes ago so Gyeo IU is stuck in Serin's body,…
We don't really know if Jung Gyeol body (Real Oh Se Rin) is even dead because they never had a funeral, which is odd for Kdramas to not have funerals whether they are Buddhist or Christian/Catholic. Most are assuming she's alive and hidden somewhere or she's not crucial to the plot right now. Because everyone was having a good old family dinner after the death. No mourning period at all. Like oh she died...oh well...moving on with our next storyline LOL Whatever the screenwriter-nim decides to throw at the wall. LOL
Episode 17 and I want to slap the police big boss. Like OMG! He's so indignant, self-righteous, and of old conservative…
It felt like he was treating the imperfect victim like a criminal, which is often the case in rape/domestic violence cases. Like yes bias can come into play with anything but when you are the outsider, you have to be rational and have EQ. There are ways to question someone to get the truth and your answers without resorting to victim blaming and treating a suspect/victim like a criminal.

But in reality, you would think a being like Xiang Liu would just create his own Kingdom/Realm unless there's a reason for siding with one that we have yet to know and will probably know in the upcoming episodes. No need to side with either side and just be Emperor of XiangLiu Kingdom LOL I know the other 2 kingdoms would start war againts XiangLiu but he seriously could have a Kingdom of demons, spirits, immortals, etc.
I think it's XL, because kid has same red eyes and power, I think XY already lost her power that time..
Something traumatic happened that led her to end up magically transitioning into her current identity. In the episode where she couldn't remember who she was and had all those different faces and then the scary faceless by the river.
He should/is supposed to be the one she ends up with. 😉
Then again anything is possible with 4 different men that want to be with her LOL plus whatever the director, producer, and script writer ended up doing in the end. Endings aren't always like the novels sometimes for better and sometimes for worse.

The trailer shows her sorta leaving/breaking up with him when you see him crying as she's leaving twice once with the other woman that is pregnant and then when she gives him his jade pendant thing and he's holding it in his hands outside and FL is walking away.
Riri/Lili is doing double duty from being on this series and lakorn "Nobody's Happy If I'm Not." Two different characters and personalities. Also cafe boy is in both series LOL but he's only appeared on this series two or three times.
I teared up in ep 15, and the preview for ep 16 just pissed me off with the dad and Tri. Looking forward to it!!!…
Same and I can't believe we are at the end. I thought we still had at least 2 more episodes. Like there's so much to fit into episode 16 from ML dad secret, sister one-sided rivalry, Tri's mom and dad issue, Tri and Pang, Grace and fam, and of course ML and FL. Episode 16 better be extra long to close all the storylines.
