This show's biggest enemy is its horrible pacing. No matter how I look at it they do not have enough time for…
The writing is all over the place. They did too much with very little time for the episode that feels like 15 minutes LOL Too many guys in love with our virginal/pure and oblivious Mary Sue (LJ). Time is short. I get we all want everyone to have a happy ending but everyone is too polyamorous in their likes/lust LOL
This was cute but the couple felt like supporting characters in an ensemble cast. Last episode should have been in the middle, if we stuck to 8 episodes under 30 min. Too bad there's not a season 2 because it feels like there's more story left to tell.
The only way to enjoy this drama is to turn off our brain because the execution of things is all over the place…
On another note, how are Lom and Yiwa going to keep their private lovers hidden in public settings? They will be a married CP in public (business, parents, family, friends that aren't aware of their orientations) They could be caught red handed with their lovers by friends and family or have misunderstandings like how Yiwa's mom thought Marine was trying to seduce Lom LOL
Does Lom expect Nuea to agree to be the hidden concubine/mistress/side piece in public? It would get tiring having to see your lover fake love in front of their family, while you are the really close friend/roommate/personal assistant LOL
The only way to enjoy this drama is to turn off our brain because the execution of things is all over the place LOL at least we can enjoy attractive people, sexiness, and comedy bits.
Not hating but the ML is so old. He can act as an emperor lol. His visuals are for more mature old drama.
I'm not a hater but he does look more mature than the FL in this and Shining Just For You (the actresses filmed when they were anywhere between 28-31 years of age but they look way younger than their age). There are plenty of beautiful and mature actresses that wouldn't look like his daughter or niece in these dramas. I wish this FL and the one from SJFY would have had a different ML like Jeremy Tsui (he could have filmed these instead of Chonzi), Jin Han, Chen Xing Xu, Shawn Wei, Liu Yu Ning etc.
Uh almost want to drop because of the man child husband...She is constantly stressed with all the weight on her…
I was hoping for divorce but then again it's not like MS meet him during a blind date, it looked like they knew each other and she should have known that he was always a manchild and his annoying mother was always a b*tch. MS was a pushover at times. Like couldn't she have paid her jobless writer sister (when she was just goofing around and sleeping in) to be her babysitter/nanny. LOL
I don't want to be THAT person, but sometimes it feels like emotional manipulation the way Joke says certain things…
I know it's dramaland and rules there are whatever way the writer and production team wants it. But from observations, I feel that Joke's a bit insecure? Since he's Zo's first guy and idk (I'm assuming since Joke dated Nita before) Zo is Joke's first guy as well. Maybe Joke doesn't know how to navigate dating a guy as opposed to a woman. Does he treat Zo like he would Nita/other women or he tries to figure it out a long the way as he's getting to know Zo and makes mistakes since guys dating guys can be similar to hetero but also different. Not all guys or woman take on the masculine or femme and gender roles, so further eps will tell.
This is meant more as a detail that I noticed - Is that a mike pack, notebook, or big phone in Zo's pants LOL before he got on the bed, he was walking akwardly and I couldn't help but notice that boxy shaped on the pants LOL Why is he wearing casual pants to bed and not pajama or sweats LOL
They have to be married by the time of birth or even during the 30 days given to register the new born for HN…
That and SJ's father putting his thinking cap on JH being SJ's ex-bf while being YD's baby daddy. I can't wait until YD puts 2 and 2 together about JH two-timing YD with SJ. (I wonder if all this will be found out in court).
3 years of having this type of relationship and now Yoh is having issues, unless he had them before and just pushed it to the back of his mind. At year 1, I would expect the issues to brought up and communicated, which I'm sure Yoh doesn't seem to know how to bring it up (rocking the boat, causing confrontation, wants to preserve the honor of his senpai, walking on eggshells LOL) plus Mizuki is reserved with a Tsundere attitude LOL.
Maybe there's some misunderstanding about what the whole relationship is. From Yoh's POV it's a servitude contract but from Mizuki's POV maybe its the whole move-in, be with me, do as I say, I'll take care of you my nadeshiko wife/boyfriend like a weird way to ask someone to be in a relationship without fully stating what it is.
IDK just what I interpret from the first ep and trailer. Ep 1 might feel somewhat toxic the trailer makes it seem like there's more to this, so please keep watching LOL
When they are at the gay dance club and Jolin Tsai's Bravo Lover (remix?) song is playing.
There was a high school restroom bullying scene flashback that was cut from the Netflix version because I remember seeing it on a trailer clip for the movie earlier this year. I seem to have found a version of the clip not shown in Netflix...https://youtu.be/u_EB9BkGL-M
At the ambulance when Wu Ming Han said 'My Husband' to the question of whom was he talking to......loved it.
At the end, I'm sad we didn't a "我爱你" (wǒ ài nǐ ) But I guess actions are always better than words since Ming Han gained a doggy, granny, and father-in-law LOL
Why was this 2 hour long ago...it was funny in the beginning but it wasn't supposed to be so long. This wasn't…
It was quite a bit long. There was a scene in the middle that felt like that was an abrupt end but then it kept going. The story was good, just needed quite a bit of tightening and editing. Quite a few cop scenes that could have been edited shorter, tightening the ghost wedding, side plots.
