Her character is a 22/23 year old. I wouldn't call her stupid, brattiness can come with some of us and our youth, I think the scriptwriter went in circles with the story and characters (feels like those web novel writers that fill the pages of words just to have a word count to make you pay/filler stuff to have the series be 40+ episodes) kind of played around with her being super smart but also her thinking she was too smart. Like there was that background check in EP 9 where Miss Girl was this amazing super talented FL (Sanda Champion LOL!!! ) and smart girlie and she could be fluent in English in a few weeks LOL I believe XiaoBei and Dan Ding were also in the same ages . Usually it's an unrelated person to the mains. Like there's no retconning unless magically 2FL (villain) was the murderer and he was high on his medication that he was "brainwashed" into thinking he did it and the whole thing was a figment of a story that was feed to him from Villains.
