I wonder if Alen was filming other dramas during the second half. I've only seen them reduce main main screen time when second or third leads/ support are nepo/have connections/big investors or the main mains were filming one or two other dramas or movies.

The Double was so popular that it ended up doing that epilogue that was filmed way after the series was filmed and edited and it was airing. Then they quickly edited that epilogue and was ready to stream when the series was ending. Not sure how production and Youku got around the censor board to do that.

I know it's written this way and doesn't serve the purpose of this fantasy plot but You Jia seems like a weak antagonist. Like if she was smarter, she would have hired maids to spy and follow FL to get evidence and have her rival killed.
