If we could get the ML back. I would say that a new mafia organization came to Korea as they usually do. When one is taken out a new one pops up if it wasn't already a competitor in the market. It's getting too much and annoying some major higher ups and oligarchs and hurting the corporations money, it becomes national security. So they make a deal with ML that he can hunt down the org and as long as he gets rid of XYZ persons, they will clear his record and can be free sorta La Femme Nikita/The Villainess. Our adult Somi is either working in police/National Intelligence Service and is undercover running the pawn shop/maybe undercover in the organization (The Villainess style). They are reunited and partner up to take down the baddies.

Funny enough, John Wick is a semi-remake and influenced by this movie. The creator of the franchise admitted to it.

Most definitely. They had plenty of time to set up the scene but instead they chose the route of boom new actor and let's pretend he's the same.

She's apparently getting a real world experience by choice. She decided to stop taking scripts for the past 3 years. I support her in whatever makes her happy although she's a talent and is missed. I hope we get Queen of Mystery 3 and Good Casting S2 but who knows. More power to her though.

I'm surprised they allowed them to sleep on the bed with the way they were turned and how close they were. I thought censors had said no to two men sleeping on the same bed LOL

One girl with her husband couple didn't bring anything to the story. Felt like she was window dressing for YingYing to vent or whatever. XingXing felt a bit much and annoying at times. Like her feelings for XingXing didn't feel genuine since it felt like oh my friend has a guy lover and I should have one too. Like studying and business isn't enough for me since she basically riding on XingXing and Yang Guang coattails project. She needed them more than they needed her and her bestie + her bestie lover. Like had granny been in a nursing home this whole time or healthy, then she wouldn't see Xing Xing since he would be in Singapore. So things didn't make sense for her character.

I honestly did not see the point of Xing Xing and Ying Ying being a couple. Prior to Ep 8, there was no actual eye contact or hints that XingXing had any feelings for Ying Ying. They also never mention why they like each other other than being around each other and hanging together since HS? I didn't see the point of them. Like is XingXing feeling indebted to Ying Ying for helping out with granny? Like is Ying Ying jealous of her bestie having a "husband" lovelife and wants to have one too? Like girl aren't you busy with studies and business? Specially since she's allegedly not so smart at studies that she would copy from XingXing?
I saw more chemistry between XingXing and Yang Guang. They were together since childhood even have "joint ownership" properties ie toys and each had one of the lions in different colors. They were always together and were separated and took time to reconcile. If that's not a childhood friends to lovers story in a BL. There was not much given from XingXing and Ying Ying other than her being around alot in scenes, no flashbacks to HS deskmates etc. I get XingXing hasn't been in a relationship and why now, Ying Ying? Why now do you want to be with him, why didn't she ask him in HS?

True. This story took a turn. I'm curious what JDJ has on Wang and family because she tends to always run her mouth except to her deceased dad when he was alive or YH where she suffers from Keep It Secret Syndrome. Maybe she grew smart in those 2 years of missing time LOL

It's cute and gives slow burn but also has OTT anime reactions sometimes but they make sense in context of the scene. So it's like a romantic comedy between and introvert and extrovert.

FL in this series looked fine to me except for that tanning makeup that looked weird like self-tanner that was not sticking right

In Gone with the Rain, the actress Liu Mei Tong played a male character called
Wu Yin and she looked male and also androgynous. As a male, she looks like some other male actors. So it can be done but you need a more androgynous actor/actress with the right padding and makeup. It's just that most actresses that cross-dress as males seem to have makeup with lashes done and eye liner blush, gloss etc instead of super toned down LOL

I noticed the youngest actor had clear signs of a disability then the teenager version had minimal and inconsistent and now the adult seems fine at times and then out of pocket but never consistent. I can't even tell what disability he's supposed to have and no one seems to know.

I think the writers are writing for sh*ts and giggles because people being enraged = engagement on the MBC discussion forums and Knetz going bonkers on SNS

If this isn't a contract marriage, is the writer going to expect us to think this will be a sexless marriage and Wang is going to be an innocent man that doesn't drug his wife and r's her in her sleep?
If this is a contract marriage between Wang and JDJ (what does she have on him? Because the evidence that SeRan cheated with her ex and was pregnant is very not there LOL since you know SeRan will keep JDJ's ex on a leash, I guess she must have found something in those 2 years and actually kept her mouth shut to the villains for that long! Quelle surprise! JDJ can keep her mouth shut, which we know since she and her dad were the Keep It All Secret Syndrome with each other except for the villains to whom they would run their mouths to) where they pretend to be a couple (weird) but I guess we can continue with the drama since there are worse plots in other dramas LOL

Looking back at the end, I agree. Shen Yao had more of a connection to Li Ran and San Xia (since she was the person that reached out to him to check on his mental health and he seemed to get better with her help). If he had to say something, it should have been to "see how Mrs. San is doing" but without the confusing epilogue, I should have ended it when the boys were swimming and cheering. The episode where our rapper is rapping live and then we have that different credits scene of teachers dancing (honestly felt like the last episode, not sure why they did the credits for only that episode unless Youku messed up because all the other episodes end on the virtual game thing with the astronauts that look like our main characters) so I wonder if there was some editing/censors because the episodes felt a little off after the rapping live thing as if scenes were cut out but there are only 30 episodes, so scenes could have been added instead of making us fill in offscreen scenes like YS confessing to school about bullying and getting the reprimand (they didn't even show a scene in black and white as flashback to him going before the principal committee + apologizing and making up with YY, I know he's not a main but YY is) that makes me thinks scenes were cut because off-screen stuff which we shouldn't have to fill in. The only acceptable offscreen stuff but that would be mentioned is like someone being unalived/abuse/etc like where you only see the before and after of YS self-harming and the before and after of YS abusing that butterfly.
