Romanticized relationship toxicity in dramas these days is self inflicted, especially with female leads. They preach the most ridiculous reasons for staying in the most vicious of circles... Every normal person will leave her adoptive mother's environment after continuously traumatizing her for that long.
Well, this is bust.... It is the least thought-out through revenge drama I have seen. I mean, who impersonate her identical twin in such an environment without knowing anything about her sister at all. She knew absolutely nothing . She was just winging it. A typical example was when her sister's "boyfriend" tested her with food; either she didn't know that, her sister liked spicy food or she thought her late sister's "boyfriend" doesn't know her sister liked spicy food. I don't know which is which but they are both recipe for disaster in trying to hide your identity. What? Amnesia can change your taste buds? One should be competent enough for revenge, the FL is not... And I hope her seemly incompetence is part of their game plan.
Here is a suggestion to kdrama writers; just because you needed an asshole in a plot doesn't mean you should turn another character (especially the female lead) into a moron for that to happen. I mean, how many 20 year olds wouldn't concretely know they are dating? Not to mention a 30 years old modern woman. Some people are just assholes guys. They don't need idiots to become one.
This drama in my books will down in history as one the most unhinged, uncoordinated and unsophisticated piece of art form...... What a colossal waste of my expectations and time.
The drama is just so bland; Not cute enough, not hot enough, not intriguing enough, not inspiring enough. Bland.... Like a fried rice without the seasoning.
Episode 2 and I am already in the zone.... Thai dramas should really stop romanticizing abuse; being it physical or emotional. It's the Siri's age for f**k sake.
I liked the first trailer way better than the entire drama put together.... They wasted the entire thing looking for what actually happened on the new year's eve, only to know for sure at the very last minute of the drama. I mean at the literal last minute. Like an afterthought. The peak of the drama was a "PS".
It's he behaviour online that has landed her in trouble more than whether she was cheating with her Ex or not.
Likelihood? So you are not even sure? I don't judge immorality but illegality. Why? Let you who has the perfect morals throw the first stone..... nobody is holy pass ( to quote King Promise). She just has the job that will make her "MAYBE" mistake glaringly obvious.
He remembers when he to Africa? His twenties was filled with wildness and barbarism? Honestly kdrama should stop using the African continent as their punchline and stop spewing this kind of shit.......
The internet is such an unhealthy environment and we all in it are so toxic.... I just saw a post of someone saying Han So Hee's career is over (and the comments). So I wanted to know why that is so. And so I googled what she did, as in literally asked Google what she did to warrant a pre-mature career death, and according to Google, it was because she dated an unmarried man; she didn't kill nor did she rape. But she dated a man who is not married. The internet should be a tool for proverbial social weed pruning. But lately I think we use it cut the thorny roses rather than the actual weeds. WE ARE TOXIC, PEOPLE; We hurt a lot with words.
Are these accusations always true? I'm starting to feel for those alleged bullies very much. But one thing is for damn sure: Koreans really believe in revenge is a dish best served frozen.
