I'm watching this thing just for Dai Gao Zheng.. why? Because he always makes it look and feel like he can and will f**k any and every woman right. I'm sorry, but it's just what it is....
I was looking for that comment, that sh!t had me heated. The writers were wrong for that.
Exactly... And sadly, this is not the first time. You often see family members, subordinates and some genuinely bad people(both in Kdramas and Cdramas) being threatened with Africa as their punishment. As if this continent is the worst possible nightmare for even a psychopathic maniac... Is my motherland that shitty of a place?
Do they never learn? It has been four years and counting.... release the drama after filming. The longer the wait, the higher the odds of some cast member being blacklisted.
I just started watching this, and I'm already racking my brain for answers as I tend to do whenever I watch these "meet again" type of dramas, as to why someone will this obsessive over a relationship which ended a lifetime ago (eight fucking years) and a person who broke his heart, ripped it out and then stomped on it?.... And I came up with the most obvious reason; he didn't get his breakup sex(it has to be). That hot man-child didn't get the closure he deserves. So please,Lin Xi, just "give it up", for him to finally move the fuck on. Now, a word of unsolicited"something" to those who write "meet agains". "It doesn't take much to lit up old embers"(an old saying of my people). It just a matter of putting them together in a certain mood and they will burn faster and hotter than a gasoline lit bonfire. You don't always have to write them like a 1st grader who bullying his deskmate just because he can't tell her his feelings. 🧟♂️🧟♂️
Okay, I am going to say it, I am really disappointed with episode 10; the plot(which seemed very rushed) and their acting were just awful. I mean they lost a teammate, a friend and a lover and yet they all reacted incredibly abnormally to he death, as if they all knew he wasn't really dead (I'm excusing Jeff here; at least, he knew Charlie wasn't really dead. Though he does need a better poker face) Worst of all was Babe... His reaction was unbelievably superficial and obvious. But then, extremely few actors in my opinion have been able to portray the true depths and meaning of eternal loss.
What an epic waste of effort... After all what Ren Xin went through to get Ning Yuan Zhou to agree to be her babies daddy, she didn't get the chance to start the process of even making a single one?; The throw downs, the poisonings, the seductions, the coaxings with her not so very reasonable reasons.....all gone to waste.
This is my earnest question; why do writers keep propping this idea of "meeting again" as the ultimate thing? I mean, who here on this platform will waste even a second mooning over someone who clearly doesn't want to be with them? And they go ahead to make the "injured party" super rich in just some few years(which is possible but highly improbable) to make them look like the winners and the people who left them to be losers since they will be struggling (they will write them to be almost destitute). Here's a newsflash, in real life, no winner will spend his or her precious time(in kdramas: usually years) drunk crying over his or her ex.... Women in real life even have a saying to emphasize this; "getting under new guys to forget old ones". For that matter, I personally find the ML character to be extremely unrealistic, creepy and almost bitchy.. So, whenever you want to write such ridiculous characters, remember this which was said by one of my greatest heroes; forward ever, backwards, hmmm .......never.
Shen Ruo Xin's mother is evil. She's a conniving, manipulative, controlling, self-absorbed b1tch.
No she wasn't, she just wanted what she thought was best for her daughter... Maybe she made some wrong choices related to her daughter, but she did so with zero malice..
