People do fall in love not always at the "right time", so I do not think it is problem that YJ or SH those. I…
I can concede your point about the romance. However, since it's such a common thing to have it as a fix-all, I'd like the romance to be less prominent than it is. That's just my preference.
I honestly didn't want neither Yeo Joon nor Soo Hyun to have girlfriends at this point of the story may be after…
YES! I hate it when stories use romance as a "fix all" for a character with trauma. Most of the time, they aren't ready for it and aren't really looking for it in the first place. What they did is solid friends and a therapist. Personally, I find the romance as of now unfulfilling. Of course, I really like the drama as a whole. But like many people, I wish they focused more on Yeo Jun's struggles and relationship with Soohyun than they did on the romance. The drama is only 12 episodes, so it needed to be really on-task and paced well. I'm a bit disappointed. I'm still hoping for a season 2, though (even though it's highly unlikely to happen :(). This drama is one of a kind in it's portrayal of trauma--it's actually realistic with the consequences of it. Most dramas use trauma--or parental abuse without trauma--as a justification for terrible MLs. I find that most often when trauma is depicted more accurately, it's the FL's trauma. Also, can we talk about Ji Hoon's acting? F.A.N.T.A.S.T.I.C. Never have I been so impressed. What is this, his second drama? He's an idol, first of all, and second of all, the only other drama he's been in (to my knowledge) was a fluffy, not-super-deep school drama that didn't really require good acting. And then THIS. I'm honestly speechless. Okay, I've been rambling. Thanks for reading the whole disjointed thing XD (Note to people reading this: I'm not sure if I should mark this as a spoiler or not. Your thoughts?)
