Me too. I am at ep47. I am amazed how many PPL support the female and call feiyu character bad and selfish. Fl was very plain looking with subpar acting skills yet PPL shit on Arthur chen who was 17 and just starting his career. And on ep 46 she goes to other fl feiyu love interest and says a bunch of shady stuff and PPL were full on hating the love interest. Imagine if it was a guy doing that shifty stuff just because they grew up together ( similar to feng qi in wdbtd) and PPL would have gone ballistic on him but that's okay in evernight because she is the fl. Fl fans defending saying ml wouldn't let her marry anyone but him but that was said in anger after uselessly searching for her for two days unlike fl carefully planning her words and meeting with book addict to sow discord or trust issues btwn ml and second fl. I think evernight need not have romance or they should have chosen another fl if they wanted audience to see fl and ml as a couple. The best ending would be to make them siblings and let ml marry book addict or someone from academy
Hello. For anyone interested in Arthur chen feiyu other dramas I say watch Evernight. It is the kind of epic drama that is made once in a decade. It has fantastic plot, amazing performance from all the actors, amazing fight scenes, subtle and well executed comedy and haunting kind of music. It only has a little romance but trust me you won't mind it since the story sucks you right in and holds you in a choke hold.
It's a movie that he is going to join in a few days.. his next drama probably be "Confession"..
