Well, it is been a long time since I have watched Princess Agents I will try to answer as much as I can remember. If anyone asks me to recommend C-drama, Princess Agents & The Eternal Love will be the one. Although Princess Agents left with a cliffhanger, that cliffhanger is so good to watch (very emotional). Even if there isn't S2, the novel will give you comfort. But I really wish that there will be S2 no matter what! For me, I started liking the drama from the start but if you aren't persuaded after ep 1, give it a try up to ep 6. I find 2nd ML (Yan Xun) parts kind of boring (Of course, it's just my opinion.) and the bookworm idiot part is very annoying (only 2 ep though). For the rest, I love it. PA's main leads starring in https://kisskh.at/697861-yu-feng-xing which will come next year I think. So, now or next year might be the time to watch PA.

This is the reminder I use for myself whenever I watch a new drama.
Don't expect anything based on a High Rating. Just expect it to be good and no more than that. Or you will find many faults with story, characters & etc.

Well, if you love slice of life genre, I wouldn't recommend. But if you like fantasy, comedy, wit and slow romance, then, you should give it a try up to ep 5 or 8. The first 2 episodes are really fast pace though. The pace only get slow down at ep 9. But it doesn't get boring.
btw, the main protagonist is Uk this whole time. If Mu Deok was the main protagonist and didn't shine the most in the show, I would have complained. Feminism is an equal right for all genders. Not female better than male. Uk being the light and MD being the shadow in this story. There is a great saying, "Behind every great man, there is a great woman; and vice versa." What I am trying to say is that this is a Uk's show. Then, MD. Don't be disappointed that Naksu isn't shining brighter than Uk in AoS. I like badass female lead but that's not how AoS was written.
GYJ doesn't need to act as maid-girl Mudeok or Buyeon anymore, she only needs to be Naksu if she is casted in…
