I think Naksu will be able to use her power freely now cos she said that to acquire the ice stone, she must die first. That's how she got her power back and all JBY could do was test her as she won't be able to trap Naksu's power anymore cos of the ice stone.

Just like how JBY's was brought back by the ice stone and her power is not only divine power but also some part of ice stone'; so the Naksu. But if Naksu gave back the ice stone, she might not be able to use her power again. But I think UkieDokie will come up with an interesting plan. I think they will use So-i to keep pretending if she wanted to live. XD

You are kind of right though. We would have thought if Uk will live or not if not for the preview. We know that Uk will live cos he is the main protagonist but we would have been more emotional.
Yeah. They shouldn't show important scenes in the preview such as the kiss scene.

The only way to solve that problem is to press Alt+F4 or Click the X button before the post-credit scene. Then, don't look at users' profiles in the comment session. 😅

Yeah. I love JSM but Naksu has to eventually leave JBY's body (MD) unless JBY's soul die and left the body to Naksu.
But the show hasn't given us these:

Yul hasn't gone back to his home yet.
Uk hasn't master Hwansu.
JBY's identity hasn't been revealed.
There are many more. I am lazy to write down rn so that's it. 😅😂

I saw yesterday that some of you were disappointed with MD (JSM) fighting scene.
Well, she was not flashy and she didn't hit the soul-shifter guy a lot as she is OP.
You see, OP heroes only need "one hit" to kill their enemy. That's why what JSM did was simple but the CGI effect could have been better though. The effect needs more colour and a glowing effect IMO. (Yeah, I am saying that it's not JSM fault; it is CGI effect fault.) Naksu didn't use a huge spell out of rage cos she still wanted to see Uk's corpse at least. XD
But Uk has been very smart this whole time so he outplayed her. XD
We will get to see how he outplayed her & the Kang Ji-ho (soul-shifter) next week. 😂
Sidenote: Don't get me wrong. MD is smart but I added outplay as a joke. 😅

JSM (MD) didn't have to do anything cos she is OP MAGE!
They just need better effects. WHen you are OP, you don't have to hit many times or be flashy.
Just one hit is all you need.

The whole point of EP 18 was to explain to the viewers why Naksu chose to save them instead of letting them die.
JBY tested to see if Naksu will let her lover die or not; to see if she is worthy of the ice stone and to let her live in her body.
That's why it may seem the pace is slow but you can't take those explanations out either just to get to the action or to progress the story.
