Danju is the head of villain who is the queen. In ep 8, it said that she had ice stone to stop soul shifter from running wild. Probably half ice stone or part of the ice stone.
We saw that the woman who did the rain ritual was a blindfolded girl. Then, she appeared again when the ice stone was destroyed in ep 7.
So, here is my theory.
Blind girl (200 years old) + Ice Stone = Mu Deok*.
She probably becomes weak after dissolving half of the ice stone just like soul shifting side effect. She needed someone with a strong soul to get strong like before. So, when Naksu did soul shifting, she saw it as an opportunity and took her in. She is still weaker than Naksu right now and she needed Jang Uk to get strong so she kept him safe too. She might take back control of the body later on or she will choose to go to another body cos she supports ML & FL love. XD
Mu Deok is the leader of Jinyowon so she can open the Jinyowon door easily. I also think that you can open that door easily with ice stone too cos it is the strongest artefact in that world.
Side note: Mu Deok is 200 years old while Jang Uk is 20 years old.
I don't think Mu Deok is the Jin family's lost daughter at all.

I will just say why the ending is very important and how it can affect previous episodes. If a person did all good deeds in his life, and then, murdered a lot of people in the end. Do people still think of him as a good person? Probably no. That's how FL & ML characters got changed in the last 2 episodes. The ending was too rushed that it couldn't convince most viewers why they never get back together. And why are they still longing for each other? Pls, stop longing if you are going to let go of your love. Don't you feel bad for your future partner? This would have been a masterpiece but the ending ruined it. Even people who don't like the ending will say that this drama is good.

So, she is gonna protect both of them until she gain her full strength. Then, she might try to take over Naksu or get into another body if she support both of them.

The man with a dog is a student of the founder. The founder of songrim is the one who turned ice stone into a blind girl. Therefore, that man don't know thay ice stone is Mu Deok or is the ice stone inside Mu Deok. I will rewatch it again when I get home.
I like your theory but I hope they are not reincranations.
I don't like reincranation cos it means any ML & FL doesn't need to be ended up together and they can die too. But hey, there is reincranation to save them. Ending the show with letting them meet again after reincranation just lost all its charm and effects. When drama end like that, it doesn't feel satisfying. If the writer want to use reincranations, both main leads should get happy ending always in this life or another. Then, I am okay.
