Title Romance Doll Spoiler
I just finished it I don't understand all the hate, this movie left me crying till my eyes got sore, the moment…
His job is to make sex dolls, he isn't a biomedical engineer though he could be if he went back to school for it. I think they did it the proper unconventional way, and I preferred that to the unrealistic way you stated above. But, just because I disagree don't make your opinion invalid. So don't take this as a insult.

Title Romance Doll Spoiler
I don't understand why he'd be okay with the whole of Japan essentially f***** his wife in doll form? After all,…
I disagree. He actually had zero plans for it, until his wife requested it. He would've probably used a different model, but she asked to be used. Who is he to reject his wife's final wish? I don't see the problem, he got to continue doing the job he loved, and he got to honor his wife in his/her own way. It's a doll, and I'm sure he would've been more hesitant to pass around his actual wife with 100 other guys, lol. It'd a unique way to honor his wife, but he honored it well. He was the last to experience her in a sexual way, so he should take a lot of pride in that. Him groveling for the last part of the movie happened, and we already saw the desperation when he "tested" the doll there is no practical reason to extent it too much. I'm giving it a 10/10. I was never into the overly cutesy romance, the depressing, romances without being overly nonsenial is my type of vibe, and they portrayed this well. So I respectfully disagree with you
