I thought the director would SY and JB’s married life with kids at the end but nothing happened. My fantasy was ruined but I would still say it is an amazing drama. Xiao Zhan and Bai Baihe played their roles so well. It is just the ending script is not that good. I heard that they had cut the episodes from 40 to 36 during censorship passing. Maybe that’s why no romantic ending for our main leads. The hockey trios were given more screen time and it was annoying. I just hope that the scriptwriters will write perfect ending for main leads rather than third lead. It feels that main leads are sidelined in their own story.

This drama is good but broke my heart. I was crying from episode 15 to last episode 24. Now I wish that writer who wrote it. Why he was so cruel that he didn't let the main leads say I like you to each other. Even I wished to see they became together in the present and spend time with each other. Zhang Wensan Fell off the lighthouse was still a mysterious thing for me. In the drama they didn't show that he died but everyone assumed he died. Wished a happy ending but after all time travel dramas are 😔

This drama broke my heart. I completed this drama with a broken heart. I could not able to control my tears watching the episodes. Like you I don't know about the ending. The writer could have made the male lead comeback afterall his death was not shown in the drama only showed that he fell off from the lighthouse. Hoped for a happy ending but 😢😢😢
