I really enjoyed the drama. It was meant to be funny and it really was. The acting was on point! Props not only to the main, but the supporting cast as well! The plot was a bit too much at times, but that always happens in historical dramas xD My biggest problem with the drama was... the relationship between Cheol Jong and So Yong, because I felt like everything between them would've been much different if it weren't for Bong Hwan. I just feel like Cheol Jong started paying more attention to So Yong only after she drastically changed, so the love between the actual So Yong and Cheol Jong didn't feel natural to me. The last two episodes were a little bit of a let down for me, honestly, but the drama was still something quite different and enjoyable, so an 8/10 for me.

In this drama, everything felt like empthy talk to me and I wasn't interesnted in what would happen to the characters and how they would resolve their problems. So... the love story lacked a lot and so did the rest of the story. I'll give this a 6/10, but even that feels like a lot.
Out of all the short BL series, which have been released since the summer of 2020, we finally got some proper kissing in this one. I can't say the story was wow, but it's good to see that things are getting into the right direction. Hopefully, the new releases will just get better and better.

I'm sure everyone would agree that he definitely stole the spotlight in True Beauty! The moment I saw him, he really reminded me of Lee Joon Gi! Years ago, he could've definitely played a younger version of him in a drama. I can't wait for more from Inyeop! :)

It's a pity that those who are supposed to protect us and keep us safe, end up doing the opposite while abusing their power, but sadly that's something which happens in every country. I really liked Shimok's growth in this season!

The OST was just perfect and the acting was also splendid. Props to Oh Jung Se! Portraying a disabled character is a huge challenge and he did it flawlessly, his acting was very believable. The title of the drama is so, so fitting "It's Okay to Not be Okay" ... we all have our problems and we daily struggle and battle with our demons. Mental health is just as important as physical health and I hope more people will realize that. The drama really tells touching stories, which without a doubt can make you shed tears. Definitely lived up to my expectations and there were also some very nice surprises from the cast - 9/10 for me.
Above all, you should also read the manga, because there are some differences and although I think I prefer the manga's ending, overall I enjoyed the series more. Also, when they mentioned that Chief Yoon's child had died in an accident 3 years ago, I instantly thought that he was somehow connected to the murders, but it didn't cross my mind that he would actually be the killer. Dong Jae... sometimes changing one's personality is not possible, no matter what the person goes through. HOWEVER, there are definitely some questions that didn't find their answers... like what exactly happened with Yoo Beom after his 'I'm sick' play, also Yeon Jae? Will she really leave things as they are or would she seek revenge for her husband? Would she go against her father or someone else?? My BIGGEST question is... what was the deal with Jeong Bon??? He was present when Ga Young was found and he was also connected to Park's case, he felt bad for Chief Yoon, as a fellow criminal would. What was the point of showing us suspicious scenes with him and then NOTHING? I can't really say I enjoyed the open ending of the drama, BUT I saw that there is supposed to be a second season, which has been postponed for years and is reportedly coming out in less than half a year?
