It was a really good movie! It gave me Signal vibes. 7,5/10 for me =)
I am a huge fan of time travelling and this time it was done quite differently.
But I just wonder... When Geon U found out that Yun Jeong really existed, why didn't he just look for Ji Hwan?
We never saw the present version of him, well the ending suggest that both leads from 2015 are reincarnation of the ones from 1983. I couldn't understand at first why Geon U suddenly became a teacher and his detective colleagues could not recognise him, but I can accept it, because of the rencarnation.
However, when So Eun died, how come the car just disappeared? And Chief Kang was so far away, but he said he was the one who killed her... it didn't make sense!
Superb acting and great choice of actors!
I don't know why Kim Eun Suk was so against casting Dong Wook in the drama, because that man was the best thing in it! I'm glad he didn't give up and became a part of the show in the end.
The OST & filming locations were also really nice, the COMEDY & BROMANCE were just WOW!
But I had one HUGE problem with this drama... Kim Shin and Eun Tak's relationship. I'm not talking about the age gap, I had no problems with that. But I just couldn't feel it... their love? Gong Yoo was an adorable puppy in love, but that still couldn't save the day.
Maybe Eun Tak was too childish in the first episodes, I don't know... I was just not so excited about the couple.
Now... Sunny & the Grim Reaper are another story! I loved them! Even though they weren't the main couple, they stole the spotlight for me! They were just so precious together (heart)
I'm disappointed they didn't show what happened with Deok Hwa... he kept talking about some birth secret and how he believes he could be of help, I really thought there was something special about him...
& I hated how some scenes were cut in the middle.... you have to wonder what happened next and they didn't show it.
The way the Goblin came back to life... he doesn't have to suffer anymore, but he still chose to return and have immortal life? What will happen when Eun Tak lives her last and fouth life? Even though the sword is not in his chest anymore, he would still have to suffer forever and lose his lost ones.
& that makes the whole drama with the sword kind of... useless?
I was surprised when Eun Tak died, but more accidents would have occured during her life due to being a Missing Soul, so I think her death was the right choice.
I am actually very satisfied with the ending! But my problem was the long time that passed... having in mind how many years the Goblin spent alone and will again after Eun Tak dies... That's way too much even for a 'sad love' type of story.
7.5/10 for the great job of the actors, it was a story with much potential.
It didn't exactly live up to my expectations, but it was still a very good drama, just not a masterpiece.
Just one question... Eun Tak didn't drink the tea of oblivion and in her new life she had her memories, but Sunny and the Grim Reaper walked out of the door without drinking the tea either, so why couldn't they remember their past lives?
I was hesitant about starting this drama, because I'm not really into the sports genre, but I totally don't regret watching it! Truly, one of the best dramas ever! The SWAG trio was great <3 hehe
The mains were so natural! They did an amazing job, the supporthing cast as well ~
Bok Joo's breakdown when she just wanted to quit everything and do nothing... I can relate so much, because the same thing happened to me 2 years ago and LSK portrayed it so well!
I didn't like Jae Yi. For a 30 year old man he should know what he wants!
Bok Joo x Joon Hyung will forever be one of my favorite couples!
They are just the cutest! >o<
Very heartwarming and light drama with a nice doze of humor and seriousness.
Interesting drama, surely not a masterpiece but a still a rather good one.
The plot... it was kind of predictable, but I liked the bonding between the characters and the message of the drama - that we should never judge the book by its cover.
The action scenes were very well done. Dong Hyuk & Dong Seok were amazing!
KSJ really did go overboard with his tries to act badass and Mi Yeong was kind of annoying.
I don't think the drama needs a second season and it's too late now I guess.
I still can't understand why Tae Soo killed Seon Jeong's husband! He had feelings for her??? WHAT???
I thought somebody had hired him to kill that man...
& really why did no one connect the victims of the serial murders with the fact that someone from their family had committed a crime? Well, that could have been considered as Jeong Mun's motive as well, but anyway... the whole story with the pills, let's say I believe that his memory could have been erased or he had some black outs, but to hipnotize him and make him go to every crime scene? Not so believable.
Haejin did a good job in portraying his character though. Lost and confused, desperate for the truth.
I have seen all of Jongsuk's dramas and this one was definitely the WORST!!! I'm usually a big fan of Jongsuk's acting, but here he was a bit annoying. All he did was flirt with the camera and I did not like it at all.
There were too many plot holes and that romance was so cringy.
Their "love"... was there any? I couldn't feel a thing, while watching them.
All those time skips ruined it a bit.
The going between the 2 worlds was something I was looking forward to, but it turned out not as great.
The story had so much potential, it was very original, but they couldn't pull it off.
I do not recommend it, even if you are a fan of the actors. Watch the 2 specials and save yourself some time for better things.
I will give it 7/10, only because of the many plot twists and the actor's work.
The film kept me on the edge until the very end. It was beautifully shot and had a nice OST.
However some of the scenes were too much for me.
After the great reviews I thought it would be amazing, but it was rather average!
NO PLOT DEVELOPMENT! Zombies, zombies... let's run and hope to survive!
As a viewer, I wanted to know more about the background story. It doesn't matter that there is a prequel, especially an animation. Nothing was explained.
The acting was okay, I guess and the effects were pretty good.
By far, the best Japanese movie I have ever seen!!! It made me soo happy yet sad at the same time!
I actually liked the acting, the actors surprised me nicely. The scenery was really beautiful.
I loved the storyline and even though I still haven't read the manga I didn't feel like antyhing was missing.
I haven't read the manga, but I have watched the anime and I liked this move way more than the anime!
Never forget to treasure your friends! <3
I loved Ji Soo and Soo Hyun <3 They were cute together.
But I'm tired of the same old school concept...
spoiler
Forcing children to do want their parents want, not care about them but about their future carrier more.
Then when there's nothing left to do... we go to the rooftop!
This gets me angry every time and they show it again and again! So frustrating!
Aside from that, I liked the ending. That's mostly how all music realted dramas/films end.
The fact that Jin Mok and Cha Shik changed places in the end pleased me as well.
Dream and hope! Fight for what YOU want!
That's the least you can do, while you're young!

It was nice and it had some funny moments, but nothing special.
p.s. the homeless ahjussi <3 hehe

Just WOW! I did not expect this drama to be so good!
The 3 leads did a perfect job! I could feel their emotions so much!
It's my first time watching something with Jin Ung or Hye Su but their work was mindblowing!
Same goes for Je Hoon, of course. The OST was also very good, specially the ending songs.
The drama will surely stay in my mind for a very long time, it is something to remember for sure.
The whole concept was very interesting and all cases in the drama were actually true stories.
Even though they changed the years, the names of the cases, the number of victims. It all happened...
- The Hwaseong serial murders (1986 - 1991)
- Seongsu Bridge's collapse (1994)
- The Miryang gang rape case (2004)
I liked the ending but at the same time...
I wished that congressman was put behind bars, if I had seen that I would have felt better.
It felt like all of their hard work was in vain, the Cold cases team also disappeared...
BUT! The warning Jaehan left for them! Maybe he really did start getting the transmissions again, just like Soo Hyun said. So who knows? We might get a second season or at least a spin-off.
I would love that, even if it is with different characters =)
I like how they connected each case to one of the main characters.
I still feel really bad for Sun Woo, ah such an unfair death! My heart hurts! Poor boy!
But yes, the world is unfair and sometimes we just have to accept that fact.
This was one adorable mini-drama! ^-^ hehe
The little girl was super cute!! The OST was pleasant as well =)
Minseok's acting is actually rather good! I'm looking forward to seeing more of him!
It's not like I had high expectations for this but it was worse then expected xD haha
The 'acting' was very poor, specially on Kai's side. I know it was his first try but still... he was too stiff and his actions looked really forced. He had the same expression during the whole thing >_>
I'm glad this was just a web-special and not a movie or a real drama because it was going to be a torture xD
I don't think the drama really deserves 5 stars but I'll still rate it 5/5.
It was different and had a special, unique vibe. Yoo Jung is probbaly the most interesting male lead I have ever seen, not an angel like we're used to seeing. He had his flaws, many of them.
I read a lot of comments which said that Go Eun's acting wasn't good but I loved her! Seol was absolutely adorable.
Kang Joon was great as well, totally loved all 3 leads and the supporting cast did a good job as well.
The OST was enjoyable and the storyline was something I could relate to, as a fellow university student.
About the ending? LOVED it!
Maybe In Ha got off the hook too easily but anyway...
I'm glad Inho was able to recover and take up piano again.
Seol did not give up and stayed bright and happy as before.
& Yoo Jung... I think he finally was able to grow up, he realized his wrong doings and he needed time to understand himself better in order not to hurt the people around him. What else do you need?
Seol needed time as well, even though she said she was going to be fine. Was she really?
It was an open ending, it did not say they will get back after all these years but there was still that slight possibility.
Bok Dong really was the best thing in this drama!!!
Once again a heavy high school concept butI liked how showed appreciation towards the mothers.
The final episode though... so much happened yet they left us hanging and it felt a bit rushed.
What's with the guy with white shoes? He's related to the new president that we know.
The book from 2005, what was so important about it?
Also... they mentioned a case related to a certain Mr. Choi? Same family name as the prosecutor.
It feels like they should've explained those things.
Also, Tae Se's mother - didn't like her! If you're so worried about your child, bring him with you!
Don't leave him in the hands of the monster...
I never thought I would say something like this but... SIWON STOLE THE SHOW!
Jackson & Shin Hyuk FTW!
They were both so funny! xD
The drama gave me a lot of laugh!
The first half was great then there was a slump but the last few episodes were amazing as well.
I really liked the ending, the friendship between Ha Ri & Hye Jin, the light and cheerful atmosphere!
It could've been better but it gave me so much happiness and for me, that was enough.
I am a huge fan of time travelling and this time it was done quite differently.
