Seeing they are not totally fallowing rhe book, maybe he will get together with SY's cousin.. she is so perky and he needs someone like that in his life to bring him out of the darkness he lives in. It would be a nice ending for him.

I have read some comments of MYC's sexual assault fake acusation contained in the novel and how SY's family saves him but in the series it seems to be a bit unrealistic. The Meng family is rich and powerful. His mother has the power to do what she wants to people just by making a phone call. Look what she did to SY and his father. So she could easily save her son from jail.. her contacts are in prominent places. Maybe there will be a twist to this sub plot, I am thinking.

He is on to her and he knows what tyoe of person she is. Her little tricks do not seem to be working on him.

I am not too worried about MYC and that girl. From what I have seen in his contact with her he is already suspicious of her motives for getting close to him. He is a cunning business man and seens to be quite alert to those around him. She is definetly after him for the wrong reasons. I was still doubting until the scene of the orchestra where she hurt herself deliberately so that she could shed some tears, but again, that did not seem to move him at all.
An idea just occurred to me now would'nt it be funny if he got together with SY's cousin? Boy, his mother would have a fit.. the perfect revenge . Too bad it will never happen

There is a reason for MYC's obsession with butterflies.
Butterflies symbolize transformation, hope and freedom.. everything MYC longs for in his life .

Actually I do not think that he loves her that way at all. His story about the 2 caterpilars really describes how he feels about his sister. She was the one keeping him company all these years she was his only friend in his lonely world so if he loses her then he will be lost again and by himself. I actually feel sorry for him, he looks so lonely and sad all the time. They are both suffering from psychological abuse and they have no power over their lives because their mother controls and manipulates them at her will..

One question, did XQ already find out what her mother did to SY and his family?

Honestly I cannot understand what there is not to like about this series. I fell in love with this at ep 1. So realistic! Maybe since I can identify..

Started this and do not regret it. It's a beautiful series. Loved every episode so far and I feel that it is just the right pace. The hurt that this couple feels comes out so real. I also feel sorry for the brother those two children went through so much growing up at the hands of a person who does not know how to love that it is hurtful to watch. They lead a robotic life without friends and devoid of any type of pleasure they are extremely unhappy and this is clearly portrayed by the actors so much so that I could feel their pain at times.
For me this is one of the best series that deserves a higher rating and I an just at ep 22.

I am glad to know this.. I was worried that she would try to destroy his reputation. I just watched the ep where they had a request to form a medical team to work with the firemen and the chief of the hospital called her to tell her if she knew SY was the fire chief so I got nervous..

Can someone tell me if the evil mother will try to hurt SY before the ending of the series? I do not mind spoilers

I know.. don't these people have jobs? They are everywhere except in their offices. What is SJ's objective??? To ruin the company? Because marriage to TK seems out of the question.. I get nervous everytime I see her thinking because whatever comes ou of that mind of hers is just plain crap .

Not only that but she will never get accepted back by TK'S family.. somehow I think that her father will play a role in adding rain to her parade once again

Just watched ep 34.. feel so sorry for TK . His mother on the other hand turned out to be a huge disapointed for me.. how dare she meddle in his life after what she did to him. Boy I really cannot stand JH and SJ anymore that bitch still thinks that she can win TK over, and the weasel thinks he can get YD and the baby after all the evil plots. I know these plots are unrealistic sometimes, but there is a limit! Hopefully we will start to see our lovebirds getting slowly back together again.. don't mind the obstacles they will face as long as they stay together.

I agree with you. Why bring it this far just to go back again. So anoying. I guess they are going to drag this on for another few ep. Meanwhile we will have to put up with the two stooges SJ and JH (the worst ever).
