The first few episodes- the vibes were pretty promising but it went downhill after about 6 episodes in. Honestly it wasn’t for Jaehyun, I would’ve dropped it. It was getting so tiring watching them drag the plot between Jo Ah and Min Ho for freaking 11 episodes, like damn get together already or move on! Lol but I will say, they do some comedy scenes that sends me 😂

Could be a possibility- I saw the trailer where she returns to being the goddess and attacks DFQC with her powers 😢 I heard theories that she looses her memory when she returns to her goddess form therefore doesn’t not remember their relationship.
Seems to me like youre not passing on Historical Dramas, in fact youre on a roll awaiting Back From The Brink.
Hence why I stated “K-Historical” drama. C-Historical drama is not as boring to me because it includes fantasy genre but most of K-Historical drama is more center around politics. Does that help you to understand better?
Wow, there is a lot of bad feedback regarding this drama that it got me questioning; are we even watching the same drama?! I’m so disappointed that I didn’t watch it sooner, such a beautiful drama! I loved all the characters! The child actors, main leads, second leads, and supporting characters. I tend to pass on K-Historical drama because it can get draggy and boring/political but surprisingly I was hooked on all episodes from 1-20! I’m actually a little bit sad it ended. If you’re contemplating on watching this- don’t be frighten by the bad comments and reviews. I feel like everyone has different taste and views, you won’t know until you watch it. ☺️

Anywho, does anyone find it strange that Yumi’s prime cell is love but she forgot about her and Babi’s one year anniversary? Are the writers hinting that she is as not invested in the relationship as we thought? 🤔 As for Babi, I’m wondering if his world is shaken because he empathize with Da Eun as he also feel attracted to Yumi when Yumi was in a relationship or if he really develop feelings for Da Eun?
I am trying my best not to watch this drama until it’s at least up to 10 episode released because the suspense of waiting for the next episode to come out is the worse feeling ever! Too excited! Eeek! Just glad Jinyoung finally have another romance drama out! 💚
Maybe I’ve outgrown it but there was just too much palace, political, power struggle scenes. I couldn’t watch it anymore past ep 8! Really wanted to finish it because I do like the couple but I just couldn’t. I would say though that the fighting scenes are top notch. Will decide if I want to go back and watch it but most likely won’t lol.
I like how the male lead is not your typical ‘cold exterior’ type and the female lead doesn’t have the typical ‘quite and timid’ personality. This drama isn’t solely just about romance - it’s also about friendship, hopes and dreams. The build up between the leads were so wholesome. They started out as genuine friends who care about each other and then turn into lovers.
I will admit that I am traumatized and devastated at the ending; the shoe lace scene on ep 16 broke me into a million pieces, I was not prepared 😭 But I won’t base the ratings off on the ending because this drama as a whole was amazing. It truly fits the quote: Don’t cry because it ended, smile because it happened.
Can we please see them pair again but in a romcom?! How wonderful would that be!!!
I swear he was in a republican drama/movie that I saw when I was young but I can’t find it on this list or online! Someone let me know, there was a song in that drama that I’ve been desperately trying to find 😩
I enjoyed this film a lot more than I thought I would. It’s the good kind of heart break. Started out as a really cute romantic comedy but then it got pretty dark and real. Kept me interested as I keep trying to guess what would happen next and the best part was of course the twist at the end! It was so unexpected. I do love the chemistry between the main FL and ML - they had some cute moments as a couple and I hope they have more projects together in the future. Now here’s the hottest debate lol: who cheated first or who is most at fault? Of course they both cheated emotionally + physically and they’re both at fault in their own ways, BUT I would have to say I sympathize with and understand the FL more and here’s why! First and foremost let’s be real, the ML is the first one who started to waver and neglect their relationship. If you look at the timeline they show at the end, the FL didn’t start to bond with the 2nd ML until the 1st ML lied about not being able to see her because he was having lunch with his boss and all his coworkers when in reality it was just him and the 2nd FL having lunch together. Then addition to that the way he reacted to her pregnancy was a big red flag. He sighed a million times and when they went to the OBGYN clinic he was acting as if being there to support her (as a loving boyfriend should be doing) was such a nuisance when hello; it takes two to make a baby and she’s the one who will be having the abortion, not you. The FL love language is affirmation and the ML could no longer give her that. After the abortion she told him to just go to work if they really need him (because they kept calling him non stop) rather than comforting her because he obviously didn’t want to be there with her, he kept checking his phone and repeating “No I can’t go, I should stay. Staying is what I SHOULD do.“ Instead of turning his phone off and just telling her “No I WANT to stay with you”. He ended up leaving to work anyways even though he got the day off! And that’s what it came down to at their break up scene was that she wanted him to spend time with her because he truly wanted to, not because he feels obligated to. They could’ve talked and possibly make up if the ML didn’t just drive off after their fight, you can see that the FL thought he was going to come inside the house with her as she was still talking to him but he just drove off. I think that was the most heart breaking scene was the devastation on her face watching his car sped off. The ML also jumped into bed with the 2nd FL right after their fight. He only regret breaking up with her because at the end he didn’t get the permanent position he was hoping for at the firm, realizing his contract would be ending. This symbolizes his relationship with the 2nd FL, the only thing they have a common that brought them together in the first place was the temp job. In the end he came to the conclusion that it was ultimately his boss fault for the break up because his boss was the reason why he was transferred to the new firm - like seriously? LOL but I think that’s suppose to be the humor in the film. Their situation is relatable though and the acting was pretty good IMO, give it a watch! Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk 🎤
