I think the one asking him to visit is his real mom like he mentioned. Plus he probably visits the fl's mom because he was raised in her foster home too.
He clearly mentioned that his grandma loved his mom more and that his mom has a family in canada. So I think it's just that he was sent to the foster home when his mom married someone

Same. I didn't have any high school romance as I was always busy studying and I was a coward. Had crushes but never confessed. But I love that this series is actually giving me the same feels from my school days. It seriously gave me butterflies every time they got closer.
Plus I loved the closet scene.
( I just turned 20 and got admission in an all girls college. So no romance for me again for three years😂
Honestly though the girls are great and it's such a shame that sexuality isn't a choice because damn if I wasn't straight those girls are all goddesses)
