I made it to episode 24 and nothing has changed.

Characters types have nothing to do with his acting skills.

I have read articles about the reduction of episodes and censorship due to regulations in China. There are scenes where you can clearly see the cuts. But a good script could be achieved despite of the limitations. It's a pity because I had high expectations since the source material is good and has Luo Yun Xi and Bai Lu, two great actors. The plot here is based on misunderstandings one day and promises of love the next. The cycle repeats itself as one-dimensional antagonists are added to the predictable plot.

The plot is generic and the characters are predictable. Luo Yun Xi's acting is great. He is what motivated me to keep going, but I no longer have interest in continuing to watch more episodes if I can guess what is going to happen.

Luo Yunxi has a filmography with a high percentage of bad scripts. It's a pity because he is a great actor. He deserves a good quality project. It is tiring to see bland actors participating in movies and series with complex and heavy plots while good actors like him are involved in mediocre productions.
