The ending wasn't totally bad. I actually like more "realistic" endings. Yes, the series has plot holes and I think those are worse than the ending, but I was entertained and it kept me hooked, so it was enough for me.
in a bl, you can have all that and it doesn't change the fact that it's a bl.
Because this is not just a love story, so just calling it a bl feels weird, that is why queer people prefer to call it a queer series. This goes beyond just love and it's a really important story about somthing like HIV, somthing that needs be talked more in countried like S. Korea.
This is a queer story, not a bl one. This series shows the reality of different relationships and heartbreak. How you can become what you hated in your ex partner, the dullness of relationships even when you love each other so much and MOST importantly, how HIV affects a life, mostly queer lives.
As an avid watcher of korean dating shows since the early 2000s, 1 week is more than enough. Most shows they live…
Most of the days they are out with one of the participants. If you dont have luck since the first day and match up with the perfect one, you will be pretty lost the rest of the week. In this show the dates are sometimes like 6-7 hours, so if you have to go with someone you dont connect with (since many times you have to choose someone you havent dated and stuff like that) you end up not having time to get to know the other persons well and even if then you see that you like someone else, you wont probably have an opportunity to date them 🥹 it's pure luck and timing, just look at J and S in season 2, if they J didnt get to have that date, probably they wouldnt leave the show together, because that date was what made S open his eyes. Even at the beginning of the date, he wasnt 100% happy... they had to spend those 6 hours together for him to realize 🥹🥹🥹
In this season, the timing for Seongmin and Jae was always bad, so if the first date was with Jae, probably Hwi wouldnt suffer so much, because those two would be together since the beginning and Hwi would give up sooner. It's just 1 week with 8 people, it's impossible for them to have the time... when someone realize who the perfect one is for them, most of the time its already late. Like now with Hwi and Seungjin, maybe Hwi realize the last day and they end up together or not, but probably if they started this "love phase" days before...
I loved the 2° season, but I'm loving this one soooo much. I love a bit of drama and the plot twists we are having.
People need to understand that S and J in the second 2 was just pure luck. they just have 1 week to know each other and decide. It's impossible to fall in love, even liking someone a lot.
I don't usually like romance kdramas, since they tend to drag it for 16 episodes without much plot, but I LOVED this one.I don't know I don't see it so hard to understand the timeline, but I think they could make it a bit clearer.
and the chemistry, the love, OMG. And all the plot twists and how they explained everything and the ending ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I think it’s because Ji Hyun thinks that Jae Won always kisses everyone in sight when he’s drunk and he doesn’t…
Yeah, I get it, but since they hold hands like twice, they almost kissed in Han river and in the end of ep 4 were almost kissing... idk, it's like so weird that they were avoiding each other after that kiss and suddenly they are in Han river, like nothing happened. I think it's what others are saying, that the editing in these two eps is kinda bad, choppy and weird so it's confusing.
I loved it! I kinda liked the first 5 episodes and I thought in some point I was gonna lose interest but after that I was hooked. It was my first historic kdrama, so it was perfect that it had a comedic aura in some scenes so it didn't feel dense. And usually I get bored with romance dramas after 8 episodes or so, but since this is more focused in the secrets inside the palace and who is really the king, it was perfect how the romance progressed, since it wasnt the main plot.
I don't understand the hype... I'm happy that they give light to autism in Korea, but it was so boring... I forced myself to watch it, but I couldnt watch the last 2 episodes.
The cases were SO boring. The plot for her was... boring and empty... And only showed stuff from her, the rest of characters existed just for her, they tell you nothing about the 98% of the characters. The romance was empty and kinda weird... She talked to you about whales and suddenly, you like her romantically... ok.
I got so mad with this series, really hahaha like I couldnt understand how they could make such bland cases or unnecessary... I don't care about your dress, I don't care about your 3000 won. And that just her, a junior, would do all the work... They don't show then working as a team or the other two doing something, everything was resolved by Woo.
