It was so bad I can't understand how it have so many positive reviews ;-;
The twist was obvious from the start, the plot holes were jarring, the characters were terribly unlikable other than the ones that got killed, the show dragged on forever, and the whole over sensationalization of psychopathy was disgusting ;-;
Like the only plus I can think of is acting????
I love mysteries/criminal dramas but this show was a joke and a complete waste of time.

I mean I guess if you have a low blood pressure you should watch it to highten it up a bit via being annoyed at dumbness of this show.

Gosh, that "review" is so unjustified. Tbh mystery wise is one of the better dramas from this season. Lately, most of the dramas are pretty predictable, while in this every time I thought everything figured out, the new piece of the puzzle was given, changing the current orderall.

Title Was It Love?
I really don't understand people in comments- saying AeJong is the bad one, like Dae Oh is pretty trashy and childish…
Just to clarify, I do understand and agree it was wrong not to inform Dae Oh about the fact he was a father, but she did try to do so. And the fact so many people are jumping on AeJong who was in extreme emotions- boyfriend cheating on her( he didn't but that what she thought, and she did try to meet him and call him to ask about it), pregnancy with the boyfriend she struggled in a relationship with, the fear of the future, she had to deal with it all so yeah, I think anyone who think she was / is terrible couse she didn't ALSO had strength to throw away the pride and go around running after boy who she thought was cheating on her and ignoring her messages ? I would feel even shittier, and feel disgusted with myself- why was she supposed to be the only one making effort? She did try to meet him, call him, and when it didn't work out- texted him to meet with her- and he ignored that (it wasn't his fault, but she DID NOT KNOW THAT) .
After that she did amazing job, she worked hard and did her best, loved Hani and gave her her everything, but some of you are going to ignore that, and to be honest I just feel like some people don't have a basic empathy towards female characters- (like sorry she is not superhero to be calm, collected when she was in the terrible place in her life in extreme emotions, yall would totally chase after the guy who was ignoring yall and you thought was cheating on you- obviously, so perfect and inhuman~), while not really doing the same to male character. Ya, he is handsome, cute and love her I guess that makes his childish behaviour all okay, but the fact the female character ain't superhero makes her the worst possible human being. And that's what irks me so much.
OBVIOUSLY I don't think the fact he didn't know about Hani or that he was mad at AeJong makes him a bad person, and I don't think he deserve hate. They were young, in strange time in their lifes, and the fact he wasn't perfect in the relationship doesn't mean he is bad person, Ae Jong shoul've just break up with him since she was unhappy bc of him that's all. He didn't know about the pregnacy (BECAUSE OF RYUJIN not because of AeJong_ but somehow everyone is hating on her rather than on Ryujin, I wonder why.) and that was not his fault. He deserved to know, and deserve to be able to meet with Hani, just like she deserves to know her father. AeJong jus thought he was ignoring her and therefore thought he was going to hurt Hani as well- in her eyes he was cheater and abandoned her, and was probably scared that he would make Hani experience similar abandonment.
Yes, it wasn't his fault but it wasn't AeJong's fault either, and the reason I'm mad is exactly because people seem to have much less empathy for female leads than male leads and that just irks the hell out of me since she did not do anything ununderstandable, all she did was perfectly normal or respectable, she could've aborted the child, yet she gave up her dreams to take care of her and did her absolute best yet somehow she is the bad one, just wow.

I really don't understand people in comments- saying AeJong is the bad one, like Dae Oh is pretty trashy and childish now and was in the past. Like boy was all over her not leaving her alone, then when they got together he stopped giving her any attention, didn't bother remembering their anniversaries. avoids marriage topic, had presents for someone else( like it ain't bad thing, just it builds suspicions when he is like" don't touch my stuff omg"), and then she sees him getting kissed by another girl? And what you all say, you would be mature and calm enough to go talk to that guy? She got pregnant while still in university, with a guy whose character changed 180 when they got into the relationship, and when she goes to tell him- he is kissing another girl? Like you all would be calm and collected?
She probably texted him the info saying that they have to meet but she got no response (which was RyuJin fault, however she didn't know that) so she decided her baby doesn't need a trashy daa and she will take care of it herself- which I don't know about you but I think is mature behavior.
I can't understand people agh, sorry I got irritated.

I love how the main heroine ain't giving in, usually in romance dramas when confronted by other female character, the heroine leaves being all like "no haha, it's okay, take your time~" and the cries or tries to give up. Here she stays, says what she wants to say, is upfront, mature, and knows her self worth!
Gosh, I was soooo tired of romances but I love this show so much and it's just so amusing.
I'm a bit scared if it won't get a bit draggy as there are still 6 episodes to the end but let's not lose hope yet I guess.

I actually really like this drama? It's pretty nice, not some masterpiece but an enjoyable show! Also, I don't really find it THAT predictable, I would even say compared to other shows I watched it isn't predictable?

Thank you for this! I now know not to watch Itazura na kiss because everything you mentioned here is what is already…
Yes, at least in my opinion-if traits of characters are bothering you here, Itazura na kiss would be probably a living hell (◠‿◠;)
