Just watched the first ep.... what tf did I just watch.....
Right?! I started watching it without reading the synopsis and seeing that it has 20 min episodes... I was so confused about why the FL is flying out of nowhere 14 minutes in. (☉_ ☉)
I am on episode 10 and I am kinda disappointed in the FL's character. In the beginning, she stood her ground, was quite mischievous and witty, but now she seems quite bullyable... The shift is frustrating; it undermines her initial strength. Am I the only one who feels this way?
Just to clarify, this isn't a take on the actress, but rather on the writing.
Honestly, I feel like this won't turn out well since they are adapting a story with a foreign setting, and I’m sceptical about their ability to pull it off...
Gu Ho has my heart! He’s got these charmingly innocent quirks, which make him an endearing character; the actor is perfect in that role. James has such a genuinely considerate personality, while Yun I Rang is cunning and a truly genius sociopath. I love it! The trio dynamic was perfect, and their performance was flawless. However, one aspect that left me disappointed was the portrayal of the villain in the final scenes. The over-the-top behaviour felt exaggerated. I think they could have written a better ending. Is it just me who thinks like that about the finale?
I saw a while ago that one of my favourite webtoons is getting an adaption. I read the synopsis just now. I see that the FL is a firefighter and she becomes a bodyguard...? That's not how I remember it. The relationship between the leads was entirely different and from what I saw in the trailer, the FL's personality also seems not to be the same anymore. I want to know from someone who also read the webtoon if I can expect the same storyline. The story made me like the webtoon so much and also made me expect something from the adaption.
