I feel like what hae eun meant by regretting is that she let herself drank too much and lost control
Well that's even worse because it's as if she's saying she would only hold hyun gyu's hand if she's drunk and lost control. My point still stands nevertheless, I'm just waiting for her to stop being vague and give clear answers in ep 18. Let's all just hope for the best for both of them.

Yes, all i want right now is for hyun gyu to be happy tbh. He deserves better. Just like what you said, hae eun is beginning to act like hee doo in a way. Both of them are obviously still not over each of their exes, but they kinda lead on other people at the same time and it's not really cool. Just look at jiyeon, i'm not saying that she's an angel that has no wrongdoings for all this time but she got caught up in between na yeon and hee doo's unfinished business and ends up being the victim of hee doo's "attention" and mixed "signals" towards her, where in reality hee doo is still not over na yeon, so no wonder jiyeon is acting up. I can already see that future for hyun gyu too and it's sad. I hope hae eun sort her feelings once and for all and gives hyun gyu a truthful answer in the next ep, whatever that may be. I mean if she wishes to just get back with gyu min, then please be clear in her stance and do so, and if she wants to start something new with hyun gyu, she's also free to do so. There's no need for anyone to be hurt here.
I feel bad for hyun gyu. At this point i feel like he's being treated like a collateral damage by hae eun and i don't like it.
Accroding to the last 1:1 talk, hae eun told gyu min outright that she regretted holding hyun gyu's hand, and her asking him whether there's a possibility of him having a change of heart in the future insinuated that even after all of the bad things that happened between her and gyu min, and after all of the good dates that she had with hyun gyu, deep down she still wanted to get back with gyu min. I don't blame her for still not getting over her ex of 6 years, but for once I actually agree with gyu min's words, like if she still has feelings for gyu min then why would she hold hyun gyu's hand and send him unwarranted signals at the end? How would hyungyu feel if he ever heard her saying that she regretted it?
I'm glad that hyun gyu is asking real sharp questions during the truth or dare game in the preview of the next ep. I hope he's going to get the answers he wanted. He deserves that, at the least.
