Honestly speaking, this is the very first Kdrama I am watching as I'm more into Jdramas coz of the length of episodes. I decided to watch 'Blood' coz I'm a huge fan of the vampire genre and to tell the truth, Koreans make better supernatural themed dramas than the Japanese. Many of the vampire themed dramas in Japan are so cringeworthy, so when I first started watching 'Blood', it's like a breath of fresh air to me. Jae Hyeon's acting is a little stiff at times but I've fallen for the porcelain vampire and have watched 'You're All Surrounded' and 'Fashion King' because of him. I'm such a fangirl, lol!
I am enjoying Blood. It's a lot more suspenseful and plot driven than I imagined going in. It' s not the most fabulous kdrama I've ever seen, but it is holding my attention, and it does seem to be one I choose to watch first on Monday and Tuesday nights.
OMG I loved your article, and you did the drama justice.
I loved this drama from the beginning and I didn't understand the negativity the drama was getting. It was getting so much hate to the point where I was actually pissed off for it. Like all dramas have people who hate it or love or neutral I understand that but this drama was getting way too much hate than needed.
Your article did it justice and I also laughed reading your comments about villains and their attraction towards classical music and wine. Tbh every time the scene goes to Lee Jae Wook at his home he's always listening to classical music with wine and I always laughed and thought..LOL.
Now for the acting thank god for what you said about Goo hye sun, like you said she obviously isn't that bad to ruin the role for god's sake people. I personally think there's absolutely nothing wrong with her but a lot of people just seems to dislike her.
Anyway I'm a huge sucker for vampire dramas so that might be one of the main reasons why I love this so much. I'm someone who doesn't judge actors and their acting cause I can't see any form of 'bad acting' as people like to say, unless that actor has horrendous acting skills otherwise all actors's acting are fine to me. So that also might be the reason why I love this drama as well since there's nothing bad about it at all to me.
LOL sorry for the long essay but I'm just very happy someone wrote such a nice article on this drama as I was actually sad from all the negative reviews it was getting.
I'm in for Ahn Jae Hyun, his acting's really baaad but I can't complain cos he's totally eyecandy (I'm swooning over his vampire looks) tho I hope he'll improves just like other models turned actors. Go Hye Sun turned me off when she first appeared on ep.2 but I think she just failed to interpret her 'sassy' character but managed to make it up after view eps. Reading negative comments about this drama makes me feel sorry for both lead actors, I think this is the first time I read netizens attack 'the acting skills' consider there's so many 'bad actors in Kdramaland so what's with the fuss on this one :))
Yay Kam Woo Sung!!!! Love him to bits. Also watched him the first time in My Spring Days and fell in love with him. Have since watched his other works, and slowly watching "Alone In Love". Did not drop it yet!!
Would love to see him again in a drama or movie in the near future. Hopefully this year!
YAAAASSSS!!!! Kim Sun Ah is smazing!! One of the best actresses you can ever come across with. She's beautiful and freaking talented. I have watched many of her works. City Hall is definitely my favorite one too.
She was so amazing in Scent of a woman! out of all the melodramas I've seen that have a dying lead character, she's by far one of the best actresses I've seen at displaying such raw emotion and desperation. she nailed it.
Lee Beom Soo is such a talented actor, I started watching Triangle because of him but the show it self was not good, I suggest you watch Giant for his best performance. A marvelous show with great actors.
