I'm loving the drama so far! I'm up to date and I can't wait for next week's episodes! I do agree that Goo Hye Sun may not be the perfect Ri Ta but I've had a lot of good laughs because of her. AJH is completely adorable and I really like the fact that they're not rushing their love story, I think that's exactly how it goes on real life, so I'm very satisfied with their cute and funny moments! I wish more people in Korea gave some love to this drama because it really is interesting and fun to watch! Thanks for the article! I enjoyed Reading it.
I was planning to watch My Teacher, Mr. Kim and Happiness for Sale and after reading your article, I'm fully convinced I should do so! Might as well add Hansel and Gretel to my PTW list! :D
I thought why not give this one a try? I was expecting to drop it after the 2nd episode but there is something about this drama that keeps making me watch & I've found myself waiting anxiously for Mondays & Tuesdays.
I don't know how to explain it but i'll try: the story keeps getting more & more interesting, the acting is not as bad as I thought, I would even say I like Goo Hye Sun on this one better than any of her other characters, & of course the eye candy what can I say. Although it is a little bit slow on the romance department (come on a kiss by now would be great) & the first action scenes could have been better presented I have slowly come to like everything about this drama. There are funny, sad, intriguing, amusing & "I want to pull my hair out" moments that are making me really, really, really like this one. Although it may not be one of my top 10 one it certainly fills the time. You should give this a try!
From the moment I read that this show would be about vampire-like characters, I immediately put it on my list (That was like 2 months ago, I think), after hearing all the complaining about the acting when it started, I got more curious to see how it was really like. This week I finally caved and broke my first rule (to not watch any drama unless it has been completed, I hate waiting for new episodes every week, so I usually wait to marathon it or at least wait until it is only a few episodes from being done, this is not the only one I broke the rule for this week^-^), I started watching it, and I don't get what people are saying, this show isn't bad at all, sure there are mistakes, but they are really small mistakes, seriously for a beginner actor the main lead is doing a really great job. As for the female lead sure she is a little annoying, but it really does seem like she is really trying hard to portray this character as well as she can and is trying her best, I believe the small mistakes are no reason to drop it. Of course everyone is open to their own opinion, but just think if you were in the situation to have to play these characters, would you do much better or would have the courage to do what they do and portray these characters, I believe they are doing there best, so before anyone drops it, give it a real chance, who knows it may surprise you. ^o^
I agree with you about a lot of things. I too was turned off by the fact that it would be yet another vampire drama, cause after watching the first season of Vampire Prosecutor, I did not want to go down that road again. But I gotta say that this drama is really proving itself. It's not too over the top to where you're just sitting there shaking your head at all the ridiculousness that would never happen in real life. Yes it's a drama about a vampire, but it's not a fictitious vampire drama. The writers have managed to take an old myth and put a spin on it that makes it believable. They have presented the topic as if it is something that has been backed by science and can be explained logically. And that's what keeps me tuned in every week. Now as far as Goo Hye Sun's outfits go, I'm done and I'm over it. I keep thinking they're going to eventually give us a reason as to why she has been dressed so badly but it has not come yet. So I am not going to press the issue further. The overall acting is not the best, but it's not bad enough to the point that it takes away from the drama. And this is coming from a very judgmental person (I will not watch a k-drama where the acting is bad because I refuse to torture myself!). Although I am a bit bias because I have loved him since 'You're All Surrounded', I think the frontman is doing an excellent job in portraying a vampire who desires to be human. I am just happy that they let him take on this role as a rookie. The desire of wanting to be human is also another aspect that I like about this show.
I was worried about Blood too, because of the vampires story line. Episode one and two didn't do the drama justice, but it was an introduction that's why I didn't expect much. But it's getting better and better. I think viewers should give it a chance, if you have time you can read my reviews for Blood episodes on dramajjang https://dramajjang.wordpress.com/
I love blood, it always has a part where my heart is beating crazily like it's about to explode and its kind of always at the end of the episode so I get really mad cause I need to wait another whole week for 2 episodes :''( Anyway in my opinion it's a amazing drama full of surprises. <33333
I loved your ending statement! Very philosophical, if I may say so. I was thinking of giving this a chance, and now after reading your article, I might as well do !
I really enjoyed reading your article! When I first read the review for Blood and saw the picture (the two main leads drinking blood as if it was soda) I thought it was going to be a rather silly drama, so I started watching it just to kill some time, but I am totally hooked! If I knew it was this good I was going to wait for all the episodes to come out and race through it...
Thanks thanks for the article!!, i think people hate this drama for no reason, they must give it a try at least they must watch 4 episodes before start to throw their hate
I love it and it keeps getting interesting :)
Thank you for article. Blood is not popular drama and I'm happy you wrote interesting article about it. I watched ep. 11 today and I'm i n shock. I like the way story developing. It's not boring drama about romance with vampire. It's medical and criminal drama with some funny moments.
I wanted to watch this but obviously I too have seen the negative reviews it's had of it. I love Vampires so always looking for a good K/J-vampire-drama. I probably will give it a chance. Thanks for this article!
