Wow...thanks for writing this amazing article, and what a long list of projects that Cha Seung Won has starred in!! I have only seen three of them which are City Hall, The Greatest Love and You're all surrounded and although I admit that I appreciated his roles as he is a talented and handsome actor I was not totally bewitched by him. I think what put me off is his voice and his laughter which are not as deep as I would have expected with his height and his body structure. I will certainly be watching his next project Hwajeong as I am a dye hard saeguk lover and I will try watching some of the other projects you listed here...who knows that I might finally become a fan too!! ;)
Great article all about one of my fav actors CSW, and special thanks for listing a few of his I have not seen. He is the embodiment of seasoned actor with grand style & demeanor, and on my list of people to have at the ultimate cocktail party - love his long legs and voice.
My gosh! You really have watched a lot of CSW stuff! Wow! I often read these "stalker guides" and think about all the great movies and dramas that aren't on the list, but you were sooo thorough!
I like these articles of yours; I like the 1960ers and 1970ers. :) I'm not familiar with most of these men though (I'm more of a j-drama person) but I've got to agree with you on this: "I still tremble when I remember that drama and his role! He was perfect!" Kim Myung Min in BV, that is. I loved Kang Mae so much that I haven't yet dared to watch any other of this guy's dramas, but I know that I will some day soon.
They all look amazing but can you also tell us where we can find these movies?? I tried to find torrents but no luck, I prefer to watch it in HD if possible :).
King of Dramas is my only Kim Myung Min drama, but he was so ridiculously phenomenal in that one, I keep meaning to add more of his dramas to my list! And I could not agree more, KoD is one of the most highly underrated dramas ever. It's a pity more people don't give it a try! It's impossible not to fall in love with the team!!
As I do not really have that much knowledge about many Korean dramas and (especially) older actors yet, I do not really know about the rest, but Kim Myung Min as Anthony Kim was daebak! He gave me chills, but also made me cheer for him later.
Lee Jung Jae is another great actor not to be missed.
