*raises hand* because Kim Myung Min's voice is one of my favourites in dramaland :D
All 5 of these are awesome, although my personal favourite would be Han Seok Kyu. Unfortunately I haven't seen that much of him yet (too little time, too many awesome ahjussis), but his acting in Tree with Deep Roots and Secret Door is unforgettable.
Thanks for this article. I have to say that out of these actors I only know Kim Myung Min and Han Seok Kyu who are extremely good actors and whose dramas I have always really appreciated. I will keep an eye out for the other ones whom I have never seen before. ;)

I love these articles of yours. I really enjoyed Jung Jae Young in Broken. There is a particular scene in that movie that is ingrained in my memories. That is one heart-wrenching depiction of grief. I need to watch more movies again. Thank you again for writing these up!
Another nice one with a lot of awesome actors. My first impressions of Jung Woo Sung were also not so great, or rather I did not get the big deal back then, but as I watched him more, he has some pretty amazing moments when the roles allow him to go for it.
And of course the rest of the gentlemen simply shine in everything they do. Even in works that might be bad, you can always count on them to maintain the highest level of quality in their personal performance.
Han Seok Kyu is my favorite Korean actor so far. TWDR had him and Song Joong Ki playing the same character. Here's a game, name another drama with those level of talent on one character.
Thanks for this article I totally share your opinion about Kim Seung Woo ( he was my fav character in Iris with Sun Hwa) I just need to watch more of his dramas/movies, then Jeong Woo Seong whom I love to call my Jeong Jeong <3, and one of the most talented Korean actors ever: Han Seok Kyu, he simply blew me away in Tree With Deeps Roots, the best Historical drama I've ever watched <3333
I really wanted to watch this. I knew it'd be special. But it took me sooooo long to get on the wagon, because I couldn't watch more than 10min of the first episode. The main lead was too frustrating as a noble girl, and I could not stand it. Luckily, I was able to move past that initial phase (which, now, in retrospect, was absolutely necessary), because the show is indeed AMAZING, and it would have been a shame to miss out on it.
That beginning, I love it now, because I think that, compared with all other historicals, it best portrays the relationship a "good" noble woman would have with slaves. JYM's character, as a noble, was not a "bad" person. She was not really selfish or conceited and did not enjoy mistreating people of lower status. She had a good relationship with her maid as well. But given her status, she was taking servants for granted, unconsciously making them victims of her frustrations and struggles to honor her family and her rank. That's just to be expected. Really, it's unlikely that nobles would NOT do so. They didn't know the reality of slaves, and had their own concerns to worry about. It broke my heart to see how Moo Myeong was completely dismissing the importance of pride and honor, when for In Yub those were the biggest things in the world. Of course she'd feel infuriated by it. But now that she's a slave, she understands. Pride and honor might be as important as life for nobles, but they are meaningless for slaves. She's in a completely different world.
It's really a great show, thanks for promoting it! Looking forward to the rest! And hoping (please, please, please) for a nice ending :)
