I also think that the romance part is the most boring. The only kiss scene was so out of place in my opinion that I was hesitant to watch further after 24-25 ep. Scene there princess was dragged out from the battlefield while crying for Joo Won also was distracting. Gladly later we return to the politics. I think if authors concentrate more on how Joo Won support his princess and her ideas it will be better. For example, I like the relationship between Kang Joo Sun and his wife (she always support him no matter what), Kim Gae Shi and king.

great news season 2 is happening XD i think it comes out at someponit this year or start of 2015 :P although sadly it only has 3 of the original members from first season nevertheless it still looks like as much random fun XD

It also reminded me of Shut Up Flower Boy Band. Kang Joon's panda bike (I immediately thought of the bike Sung Joon rode :D) and him loving his dead friend's crush.
What a great article that perfectly describes this awesome drama...I agree that CSW's role here was absolutely perfect and it's too bad we don't see him any longer after Ep. 30, infact somehow the last four episodes lacked some spark. Everyone else is doing a fine job and also Kim Jae Won whom I have always seen play the good guy in other dramas. Yes romance is definitely lacking in this drama infact I feel it could end up like Queen Seon Duk where she sacrificed her love life for the throne.
