I too knew it was going to be episode as soon as I watched episode 1 :D - I was planning on saving this for a marathon but I couldn't resist any longer and went and marathoned 14 episodes in 2 days! and have been watching week by week since ;) I love the acting, the directing the sets the plot, every character - everything!
After Healer i found it hard to get hooked on any dramas.. And then i found Mask! It really is an awesome drama! I was sooo hooked I couldn't stop watching.. Now i'm always waiting for Wed & Thurs to come <3
I do not know what to say for this drama.It had me from the first 5 minutes but the main girl was so naive believing in everything the bad guy told her that I could not stand her.Esp. when the director made all the close ups to her huge eyes I was screaming to myself :"Pleeeease no more doe eyed heroine". I quit at episode 5 but my curiosity brings me back and the line of this article " Though she is still weak.......she is slowly changing" made me decide to give it another try.It helps that Joo Jin Hoo is a great actor with a very attractive face ...and body lol.I say it tho..I love the evil man and his arrogant wife.
Thanks for this great article. I agree with everything you wrote which is why I find this drama fascinating notwithstanding some quite evident logical flaws. For example, most issues would be solved much quicker if people just openly talked to each other which never seems to happen in dramas. In any case this drama is awesomely acted and filmed and it is on the whole very original.
i love how this drama just puts in the right amount of comedy, romance and whatever just to calm your heart with all the suspense.
Yeon Jung Hoon deserves an award! as much as you hate him, as much as you know all he says are lies, you can't help but believe him. he is sooo believable!
