It’s good to colab with them in modern idol dramas. But for historical dramas i prefer Zhao liying, Yang Zi, Dilraba or maybe Zhao lusy. They are the ultimate choice i prefer for kai if he wants to do a serious historical fantasy drama obviously where FL is very important. But for MC drama i don’t care about the FL at all. I don’t want kai to act with churan causeher fanbase is one of the most toxic one there.

He is one of the first tier actor with a huge fanbase. In LYF the actors were like tan jianci, deng wei, or that wang guy didn’t have an established career before they did this drama. You said he was given the character of deng wei. He was basically a third biling there. Even if he gain a boost in his career it was not well enough cause he has no projects to work now. All the dramas approaching him are low budget ones and he don't want to do those dramas. Tan jianci is same as well. But because he is an idol you Won't realise that. But his other dramas were all mediocre accept under the skin. The problem with SEL was that they did not follow the og script and give a lots of screen time to some useless characters. It disappointed the manga fans. Also the fl was flat with her expressions. Ultimately maybe LYF was a huge success but it was beneficial only for yang zi and that wang guy. If kai worked in that one it Won't help him much either.

The actor she is paired with is not a traffic actor and the drama is a FC one. Lusi's career is in peak now. Her upcoming all projects will be FC and she will be the first biling. Kai is also in a rise now. He is already working with a master director and that's a pure MC drama. And his upcoming projects will also be MC ones and he will be the first biling. So it’s quite impossible for them to work now cause both fandom will demand the first biling and they Won't compromise. Both are top stars so the fight will be ugly as well.
