Because on Netflix, this kind of content is considered completely normal. Put yourselves in the shoes of people for whom these things are culturally taboo, or even those who feel uncomfortable, even within a Western mindset. Not all of us are looking for steamy sex scenes! Some of us watch kdramas precisely because these scenes are rare!
